The next morning, Amaia woke up late. She hurriedly got ready for her exams before rushing out of her bedroom. Her exams started at 9, and it was already 8.30. She only had thirty minutes to go there.
"Good morning, Madam." Monica greeted her as soon as she stepped down in the living room. She stopped before glancing in her direction.
"Good morning." She greeted her back. From the corner of her eyes, she noticed Adriann sitting at the dining table, having his breakfast alone. Amaia averted her eyes before he could catch her gaze.
"Should I serve your breakfast?" Monica inquired, making Amaia shake her head negatively.
"No. I'm not hungry. Besides, I'm running late for college." She quickly informed her before preparing to leave.
"But you haven't eaten anything since last night." Monica asked in concern, making Amaia stop.
