-3rd POV-
After a few more procedures, Da Vinci and Olga began to give the new servants a tour of Chaldea.
It was best that they got familiar with the place since they would be helping in the long run, Olga also had a few minutes before the meeting with the other master of Chaldea started.
she would of course reveal the fact that she had become a master herself while having summoned four grand class servants, although one of their classes is quite questionable.
"And this is one of our special training rooms, this is where we usually train Chaldeas Masters so that they will have a chance at the singularities" Olga proudly presented one of her high-end rooms.
"It's good but not as good as the one back home" Spoke Otto as he inspected the room, he could sense the layers of reinforcement magic, or magecraft as they call it here, that was embedded on the walls.
Cao and Vali nodded in agreement as they could also sense how durable their high-end room 'reinforcements' were. At most, they would be able to take a light spar between high-class beings back at home.
While Olga's expensive room was being judged by the trio, Da Vinci stayed a bit back to talk with Rita.
Of the four of them, she was the most elusive and mysterious. Da Vinci just couldn't get a read on her as her stoic personality made it hard to do so.
But at the same time, she seemed to be the closest to the greatest mysteries of the four, Otto Apocalypse. Yes she could have asked the man himself if they truly were from another proper human history but the "Ultimate Villain" title she had seen earlier made her quite nervous around him.
so instead she decided to ask the maid.
"So~ mind telling me about your master? I'm quite curious about him" Da Vinci casually asked Rita, never letting her guard down. her class might be a Maid but she's a Grand Maid, it's there for a reason.
Rita raised an eyebrow in surprise at her sudden question but nodded, Otto had already predicted that she would ask the least scary-looking person questions about them, surely not himself as they saw the Ultimate Villain title.
For that reason, he gave Rita permission to satisfy Da Vinci's curiosity a bit.
"So what's with the title, Ultimate Villain? I'm interested in the story behind it~" Da Vinci asked with a light chuckle. That title has been bothering her this whole time, after all a guy with the Ultimate Villain title shouldn't be a good person.
for the safety of Chaldea, she had to make sure that Otto wouldn't destroy the place or kill everyone.
Rita stayed silent for a while thinking about her answer, she then opened her eyes and spoke "What is a villain to you?" Rita asked, catching Da Vinci off guard.
"What's a villain to me?"
"Mh" Rita softly hummed in confirmation
"A villain is someone who does evil, no?" Throughout history villains have always done bad things, that was a fact.
"Yes but what IS a villain?" Rita this time put emphasis on what a villain is
Rita's question sent Da Vinci into deep thought, if that wasn't a villain what was a villain? maybe he could be a misunderstood villain but that would just be some sort of anti-hero.
Rita could see Da Vinci having trouble deciphering her message "Otto once told me, 'A hero would sacrifice one person to save the world, but a villain would sacrifice the world for one person'" A gentle smile dawned upon ritas face as she remembered when she first asked Otto the same question Da Vinci did.
"Otto always called himself a "villain" despite being one of the kindest persons i know, it confused me too but it wasn't until i realized that he was the most selfish person in the world"
"What?!" Da Vinci was stunned, she thought she would go into some sappy talk about how he was so kind and a good person.
But nope, it took a left turn instead of right.
"Mhm, the most selfish thing one can do is to Live, and an even more selfish thing is to make others live for you" Rita walked away, leaving a stunned and confused Da Vinci.
"To live is the most selfish thing one can do..." Da Vinci muttered under her breath, still confused. Not even her genius was helping to decipher Rita's words.
"But atleast he's not a bad guy" that was something she atleast managed to get out of Rita.
And that was good enough for her...for now that is.
Looking over to Otto, she decided that she would ask the man himself this time.
He didn't seem so scary now at this moment.

Rita POV-
I hope Da Vinci understood my message, that my master is the kindest man in the world, no, the universe.
Like I said, the most selfish thing one can do is live but an even more selfish thing is to make other live for you.
A lot of us have dedicated our lives to him, wether it was through friendship, kinship, or even love.
Me especially, I have already dedicated my all to him.
I would die for Otto.
But despite that I could never die.
Why?
Because my master would rather die first than to let any of us get hurt.
Himeko, Welt, Lavinia, Dulio, Gasper, Valeria, Everyone. They are all people whome he holds close to his heart.
If he died then we would have no other choice but to live on and continue, or else his death would have had no meaning.
"For that is the most selfish thing one can do" were his words exactly.
To live is selfish to make other live for you is even greater height of selfishness.
That is the type of Villain he is.
The one that will slaughter races, kill families, destroy legacies, just to protect that which he holds dear to him.
The greatest villain of them all, my villain, Otto Apocalypse.
My Master.
