I stood frozen as I watched Killian's display of power.
He didn't even have to move as his shadow danced with lethal grace, killing every soldier that charged against him. A thick pool of blood filled the grand hall as chaos erupted around us. People rushed to flee, trying to escape his wrath, but as Killian stood at the entrance, none dared to go near him.
They crouched at the walls, hiding themselves as much as they could with panic etched on their faces, desperate to avoid the carnage that unfolded before them. Seeing Killian like this made me recall his past life which I had seen in Slyvia's memories. He was just like this, fearsome and powerful, and wonderfully sinister.
