Killian leaned over the young woman, pushing her back gently onto the bed. His glowing red eyes flickered in the dim light as he studied her face, his hand softly brushing her cheek, the sharp edges of his long black nails hovering dangerously close to her throat.
His body was full of temptation, as he inched closer, his frame covering her body completely. "If I were to kiss you right now, would you stop me?" he whispered, his voice a low, seductive purr.
Flora trembled beneath him, her heart racing as she gazed at the man above her. A battle was raging in her mind. A part of her urged her to resist, to push this dangerous man away and flee, while another part, darker and more intriguing, beckoned her to surrender, to allow him to take control.
It felt like there was this small voice in her mind asking her to let this man do whatever he desired. "No," she breathed, almost in a trance.
