I received a phone call from Adrien about an hour ago,inviting me over to his mansion, which he, by the way, refuses to admit is indeed a mansion. He prefers I call it a house,I wonder what he was thinking of building such a large place when he hates having people over. He stays alone in that thing,bet it scares him off sometimes, so he sleeps at one of the resorts.
Adrien has very many doubts in the relationship he wants to build with this Julian guy. I don't know what makes him think everything had to be laid out on a silver platter for him.
Anyway I couldn't go to him,so I invited him to mine. He told me he would be here soon but he's not here yet, it must be a heavy traffic jam.
Right on cue,I hear the sound of my doorbell and open the door for him. "Speak of the devil, and he shall appear," I comment.
Of course, he ignores me,like he always does,it's no news. He passes by me,heading to the living room and slumping down on my sofa.
He must be in a terribly bad mood,I observe.
"Hey,what is eating you up?" I sit in the sofa adjacent from his.
His frown deepens,I know it isn't easy for him to open up, but he knows he can always talk to me.
I raise from my seat and go to the fridge to fix some juice and snacks for us to talk over, giving him time to collect his thoughts.
With a deep groan,he spills all the thoughts and doubts he is having about this whole thing.
He is so distraught,you can tell just by a single glance. I can understand why, though. He is someone who likes having everything planned out, and in order,he has been that way for his entire life.
Only people from our family know about it.
Humans could simply identify it as Autism spectrum disorder.
I sit down next to him and pull him into a big hug. Giving him a shoulder to lean on
"Okay, I want you to practice the breathing exercises with me,okay!" I tell him.
He nods and follows my instructions. Slowly, we breathe together until his nerves relax quite a bit. His erratic heartbeat relaxes,making me sigh
"Okay,there good. I want you to know that you don't always have to have everything under control. Sometimes, you just have to sit back and watch how things play out. Okay, " I tell him,trying to calm his nerves.
"I know,I am trying to just sit back and relax and not think about how I want everything to be, but I can't. I can't do it. I don't like it when things are out of my control." He states with a wobbly bottom lip.
It breaks my heart seeing him in this state,I love my brother and always want to see him happy.
The reason why I don't let him run business with humans is this,they will mess him up and break his confidence. Humans can be mean,most of them. Especially to people with special needs like Adrien.
"I know you are trying, and that's what is important. You are strong and brave,I want you to always know that, okay?" I tell him while looking in his eyes.
"Okay,I am strong and brave. Thank you, Azrael." He replies with a smile replacing his distraught features.
"You will be able to have Julian,he will love you back eventually. Don't rush things, and don't get anxious about all this. Okay! Give it time and let love grow on it's own pace,whatever comes up, we shall deal with it then." I tell him,now his finally fine.
"Thank you Azrael, by the way, I asked Julian to hang out with me, and he accepted. We shall be meeting next week when he returns from his business trip." He informs me with a grin on his face.
"Now that's awesome. You have a chance to get to know each other,remember baby steps get you far away from nowhere. Don't rush anything."
"Thank you again for giving me a hand whenever I'm a mess,"
"What is family for if we neglect each other."
"About your man,I think I should meet up with him sooner than I thought. I have to prepare for Julian next week,so how about you organize a dinner for us this weekend." He suggests.
I beam up with happiness,I honestly didn't expect it to be this soon. There are protocols in place that one of us wants to mate with humans,it takes time. But since I'm blessed with the privilege to get things done faster,who am I to complain.
"Okay, bro,let's meet up Friday at 7 since he is busy on weekends. You know chocolatiers,he barely has time for me on weekends." This makes Adrien chuckle lowly.
"Gives me enough time to prepare mentally,I won't go easy on him with questions. That I promise you"
Of course,I know you. But it's you fulfilling your duty as leader,I won't mind at all. "
We are interrupted by Adrien's ringtone,he picks up quickly, emanating a bright glow. Happens whenever he is extremely excited.
Must be Julian.
"Hey Julian," he purrs into the phone.
"No,you're not disturbing anything..... I was just talking to my brother.... oh, he is okay with it. He says you're a nice man and also sends you his greetings."
After passing on my greetings,I get up and leave.
He needs his privacy while I'm craving some good loving from my sweet man.
I got my phone from my bedroom where I had left it to charge and ring my baby.
"Hey, hot stuff! What are you up to?" I speak into the phone.
'Hey hun,miss me already? We just talked this afternoon.'
"Stop being a tease and tell me,mind coming over and spend the night with me?"
'Oh, I would love to who wouldn't!? I'll be over in Thirty.'
"Alright Lucy,don't delay. I also have something important to discuss with you.
Alright, bye now. Hang up, I'm on my bike. Will be there soon.
I return to the living room and find my big brother,hanging up his call with Julian.
He looks up at me and composes himself
"Well, I better be on my way. I can smell arousal on you already. Be careful, I don't want any nieces or nephews yet." He remarks.
"Don't worry,we use protection. Can't afford expensive mistakes that will risk our species."
Okay, I'll be on my way out,let me leave and give you time and space to prepare for your man's arrival."
Ugh, this sly fox,I'll wait for his time and get back at him.
I turn on my heels and go back inside. Once Luciano gets here,I'll make sure to first get my share of TLC and then ask him out for dinner with my brother.
I have my priorities straight.
