Chapter 34 - Aura, the true meaning.

Aldin Randell

When I wrapped the light construct me, I added some earth aura to it, the light construct stood firm despite the onslaught of the spider's venomous aura.

It then hit me.

'Earth strengthens, water makes me fluid, light heals and purifies and fire destroys, this is the true use of aura, an expression of my emotions,' I thought. I now had gotten an enlightenment, this was the key to aura, the power of emotions.

Immediately after I realised the secrets of aura, I felt the bottleneck I had clear up, mana from him the air came around me, and my limitless core took it all in, still I could feel the hunger it had for mana and the world was not giving me enough mana to satisfy it.

Using the sceptre I brought back the white flame and poured in fire-attributed will. The fire turned from its pure white colour to a shining golden flame, it began ravaging the giant spider.

'If will and aura can be added to fire then I can also devour it all,' I thought as an idea began brewing in my head.

The flame that was folded just not lost colour and gained nihility, the devouring flames began eating away at the beast, feeding my core.

When Alastor saw Aldin in the flame unharmed he was shocked.

'He figured out how to use aura, this kid is not just a monster but the king of monsters Alastor through and went back to where Xander was.

Aldin began devouring the beast with his devouring flame supplementing his mana core, the beast was unable to escape the devouring flame, and by the time Aldin was satisfied with the mana he had, the beast no longer had any legs, a torso and part of it's head.

Aldin meanwhile was now beginning his evolution, the ring turned dull at this time and it seemed to become part of Aldin, no sooner did Aldin begin evolving, since now Aldin was in the fourth tier and could use will to its limit, his body would now be imbued with his aura,

First, his aura enveloped him whole and seeped into all the parts of his body, soon followed by the mana until it was completely saturated on his body even forming a layer on him. His bones then began mutating, thanks to the aura that was saturated in it, Aldin was in great pain but he gritted his teeth growing through it all, during the mutation, his bone structure changed, and parts of his body began exposing bone parts, his knuckles, elbows, the heels of his feet, knees and the tips of his fingers. They were extremely smooth like a marble, now his flesh's turn to take on the mutation. His flesh became tougher like leather and his skin became even paler but in the end, it gained some warmth, and the scales on his arms became smaller such that thet were not as visible, his hair turned from having grey strands to blonde, it was not just blonde, it was grey with a mix of a golden colour making his hair blonde. The slit in his eyes was now more apparent than before and could be clearly seen from a distance.

Then it took some more time for Aldin to get used to his body, but seconds later Aldin was able to control his body like nothing had happened.

Aldin looked down at the beast like a bug, he finished what head had begun and devoured the rest of it leaving behind its core, as Aldin was going down to get it, he noticed something, he could see something around the beast with his eyes. Around the core was a green flame around it, the flame felt different to Aldin, from where he was he could feel it was different, Aldin flew to where the core was at, and his body changed back to its normal thirteen-year-old child appearance.

When Aldin landed on the earth platform, he could see the crystal clearly, it was almost half his size, and the flames from close by had a will in them, Aldin observed them closer, from afar, Alastro and Xander thought Aldin was just starring at the core and inspection it but they could not see the flame around it, only Aldin could.

The two tower masters came to where Aldin was.

'He has grown a lot from the last time I saw him, I never knew he could do this,' Xander thought.

'I thought this kid was just talented, but he is much more than that, good thing I now have a connection to him,' Alastor thought to himself.

"What are you looking at so hard?' Xander asked.

'They can't see the flames, I better not tell them,' ALdin said.

"Nothing, I was just looking at it closer, I wanted to see more of the details on it," Aldin said.

"Since you are done, how about we go back home," Xander said.

At those words, Aldni remembered the two people he was taking care of. Aldin wanted to use radar but he did something new, he rater spread out his aura which ended up covering a very large area. He found them he then tried using light-attributed will and he could see them clearly. With a smile, Aldin wrapped water attributed will around him and flew to where they were with the giant core behind him. When he landed there they seemed worried for him.

"Are you alright, did you meet that really strong mage?" Adam asked.

'They do not know that was me, I probably should not tell them,' Aldin said.

"No, I did not, and could you describe it?" Aldin asked.

"He was huge, he had very dark armour around him," Adam said.

From behind Aldin, Xander and Alastor descended behind him.

Adam gasped in shock, Min walked to where he was and held his hand to comfort him.

"Don't worry, he has no idea who you are, he can't tell," Min said to Adam. Aldin could hear this.

'What is it, is there something I do not know,' Aldin thought in confusion, there was definitely something between the two of them but he did not know why his master did not know anything.

"These are friends I met while I was hunting, I have been staying with them," Aldin said and moved over to where Adam was and turned to face the two tower masters.

"We need to go see your parents first they were really worried when you summoned your sceptre," Alastor said.

"Ohh, yeah," Aldin said.

"You can go to the cavern, I'll be back in a few hours," Aldin said.

"No need to worry, you can bring them along. I am sure your parents would like it if they saw you with two friends who have your back," Alastor said.

"Okay," Adam said out loud.

"If you say so, Aldin then placed them on a light construct and they flew all the way back to Aden.

They arrived at the count's mansion. Aldin walked to the castle, all the guards knelt to him as he walked by.

"I thought you were not a noble kid," Adam said with a lot of confidence that Min was shocked and worried about what could possibly happen.

"I am not," Aldin said in his defence.

"He isn't he just showed them how powerful he is and also he helped them around a lot which makes him look like a hero to all those here," Alastor said.

As they got close to the castle, a huge blonde man came rushing out, as he ran over, Min's heart skip beats and he even got heartache.

The man came running and picked up Aldin in a huge embrace.

"You worried me a lot, what happened," The man questioned Aldin sternly.

"Nothing, I was just battling a giant spider," Aldin said not wanting to worry his father.

"Then why did you summon your sceptre?" Lark said almost seeing through Aldin's lies.

"Because I wanted to finish things quickly," Aldin said in his defence.

"If you say so, thank you for bringing my son back," Lark said.

"There was no need, he actually dealt with it well," Alastor said and then Lark finally noticed the giant core that was behind Aldin.

"What level was the beast Aldin was fighting?' Lark asked.

"It was in the legendary tier," Alastor said, Xander was shocked and even hiccuped.

"What?!" A woman said from behind them all.

It was Sylvia, she had come to the city after her husband.

"What do you mean you fought a legendary tier beast, do you know how dangerous those things are?!" Sylvia shouted as she stomped over, the ground under her got burned as she walked on it, her furry walked with her.

"It has just evolved, it was not that strong," Alastor commented.

Sylvia looked over to Alastor with a sharp glare and he shut up.

'You're on your own now kid,' Alastor said moving to the side to not be part of the cross fire.

Aldin looked over to his mother.

'I am sorry mum,' Aldin thought to himself
