Charlie drove us both to the drink shop, we settled in a table as silence took over.
"You look pretty in this outfit"Charlie smiled,
"Thanks alot for the compliment, you also look good ba- charlie "
"Say it skye...."
"I'm shy, 'll feel a bit embarrassed"
"you're with me, you shouldn't be"
"Fine. B-ba-bae, you look good bae"I blushed
"It sounds so cute coming from you"he said as I hid my face in my palms in embarrassment,
"Can I ask you a question bae?"i asked
"Sure, go on.... sweetheart"he teased.
"No offense but why are you still in 11th grade, you're 19, aren't you supposed to be in college?"
"None taken. It's as simple as my dad refused to pay for my education for some years. I have a slow education"
"That explains it all i guess"i said,
"Hello beautiful lady and handsome gentleman. Welcome to shots and sips. What would you like to drink?"a bartender said,
"Thank you ma'am, a smoothie would do"
"Flavour?"
"banana please"
"Cold?"
"Yes ma'am, with extra whipped cream"
"You want any thing else in addition?"
"Yes, I'd love sprinkles on the whipped cream, i know it's weird but sprinkles please"
"Sure...."she paused as she jotted down somethings, "and you gentleman?"
"Just a wine cooler, Non alcoholic please"
"Okay, your order will here soon, please do make yourself comfortable miss and Mister"she said with a smile,
"Will do ma'am"i smiled back as the woman left, "she's so nice"i said resting my chin on my palm with my elbow on the table.
"Yeah, don't just get carried away hun, she's just doing her job as a bartender, nothing more. Don't get attracted"
"But i am getting attra-"
"Hey skye and- and dude, can i take a si-"Alexa wasn't able to finish her sentence as I squeezed her in my arms hugging her real tight like i never wanted to let go of her.
"Yes, yes, yes, oh my gosh Alexa, yes, yes. You can take a sit. There are 2 extra sits. Please do take a sit Alexa"i said as i pulled a chair out for her to sit in, she did just that as i sat down also. I stretched my arms across the table to feel her face and retreated after feeling her cheeks to my satisfaction. I sighed with a wide smile as I stared at her again.
"I just can't believe it's you Alexa. Like you're sitting right here with me, i just missed you so much like alot. The fact that you mind your business is another reason to miss you so much. What happened between you and max?"i asked curious,
"I won't tell you until you introduce this guy sitting right here, to me, i wish i could mind my business about that but I'm really curious, I could explode with curiosity"
"Oh, my bad. Alexa, this is charlie, my boyfriend-hehe. Charlie, this is Alexa, my brother's ex who i told you about her being better than that Madison"
"Oh, this is Alexa?. I heard so much about you Alexa, my babe never told me you were such a damsel"he said with a smirk
"Oh please, don't woo me. you have a girlfriend, don't make her jealous. But thanks"Alexa blushed,
"Speaking of Madison, i heard you met her at a supermarket with max, but before that, tell me what happened between you and max"i asked,
"Here you go lady and gentleman, what would you like to have lady?"the woman said as she placed our drinks before us,
"I would like to have an orange fruit juice"Alexa blurt out,
"Freshly squeezed or custom-made?"
"Freshly squeezed please"
"Cubed sugar or normal crystalized sugar or syrup?"
"Syrup please"
"sugar syrup or flavoured?"
"Sugar syrup"
"Room temperature or cold?"
"Cold please"
"Coming right up"the woman left.
"Back to business skye, what happened between max and I. He came to my house and from his point of view, a guy was sucking on my neck. He didn't give me a chance to explain till now. He keeps believing his own side of story and wouldn't listen to mine, does that even make any sense?"
"What's your own side of the story?"
"No offense, but I can't say it here- ahem- your boyfriend is here, you know our little secret"Alexa said,
"Oh, just say it, he won't freak out, trust me"
"You sure?, have you told him?"
"No but this is the perfect chance to. Don't you trust me"
"Fine. As you know I'm a warewolf...."she paused to read Charlie's reaction but he wasn't surprised a bit and that made me worried, "I'm 21, I've exceeded 20 which is the age of finding my mate. I needed to get marked as soon as possible so as to excape the heat. Max isn't a warewolf anymore and even if he was, my parents wouldn't let him mark me because they kind of don't like him. I had to get marked as soon as possible by someone for the main time, I needed someone except max to do the marking to excape the heat for 5 months, I knew the marking would fade in 5months because the person probably wouldn't be my mate because max is obviously my mate. So I had my cousin do it. He had to find my soft spot before biting it so he kind of had to suck on my neck to get the spot where I- ahem- where I moan the most, when he was trying to find the spot, max walked in on us and boom, Madison found her way into his life"
"Wait.... You know Madison?"
"Yes, she's my cousin also, she was jealous of the way I boasted about max and she wanted him all to herself. She's a rouge wolf and was kicked out of her pack, but I stupidly acknowledged her even when my parents warned me not to because she's a rogue but i kept saying family is family, we're still of the same blood no matter what. She payed me back by taking max, that immature!. I tried to explain to him at the mart but he wouldn't even look at me not to mention listen to me. I know what that girl can do, she knows about you and Max's family secret so she is just a distraction, she wants to distract you and max from getting your parents back. She wants to take Max's money at the same time. She's venom herself. Pretend to play along else she wouldn't hesitate to kill you soon if she finds out you're a hard catch or you're a burden to her plot"
"I'm not playing along with any shit. You're going home with me tonight to go tell everything to max. I knew there was something off with that girl. She's just a fucking distraction, she has poisoned max's mind that he can't think straight anymore. I don't know how she did it and I don't wanna know, it all comes down tonight"
"Here you go miss, enjoy your drink"the woman served Alexa and left.
"Skye, she's manipulative, you have to play alo-"
"No!, i don't wanna. We're leaving in 20, it's past 6pm now"I said as I continued drinking silently,
"So you're both warewolves?"charlie asked out of the blue in a weird way,
"She is, I was, it's complicated, don't freak out, we're not monsters"i said,
"I know, I'm one also, I'm sorry for hiding it babe, i always wanted to tell you but didn't know how"
"I'm not mad but wait, you're a warewolf?"
"Yeah, what pack do you belong Alexa?"he said as i looked at him in shock.
"Grey cloud pack, our special powers is hearing about 20 kilometer radius far away and we can separate sounds, you?"Alexa said,
"Red moon pack, just one special power and that is-"charlie was interupred by Alexa and I, "read minds"we both said,
"How did you know?"charlie asked,
"I noticed it, you read my mind always, you and chynna"i said
"I've Heard alot about red moon pack, i wish i belonged to red moon pack, you guys are so cool and fearless. You got any brother i can marry so i can be one of you?- hehe"Alexa said
"No, my bro is probably taken now. skye, which pack do you belong to?"
"Lone pack, inner monster and hyper activeness"
"What does inner monster mean?"charlie asked
"when we're being defeated to the point of blacking out, there's an inner monster in us that takes over us and fights the battle for us. It also takes over when we're pissed off, my bro and I are the only survivor of the pack"
"That's cool, Madison belongs to the black iris pack, they have manipulative pitch black eyes, they have the power to jinx someone with their eyes, that's probably what she's doing to max and it can't be broken easily unless you have someone from that same pack to reverse it"Alexa said,
"My sister, Isabella belongs to that pack also, she could reverse it"charlie said and that explains why Isabella's eyes are cutely black,
"Nope, I'll break it myself, i'll force it out of her. We should get going now Alexa, charlie will drop us off"i said as i quickly finished my smoothie.
