The Beast Raid, a unique phenomenon, has been mentioned since the dawn of civilization. Despite the struggle for survival, humans were never completely annihilated. Over time, resilient individuals who persevered built kingdoms and empires. Houses, schools, hospitals, and academies were constructed, and even amidst the crisis, the Beast Raid somehow became part of the norm. In fact, it became the new normal.
However, there were those who couldn't adapt to this new normal. They failed to survive independently and had to seek a person they could rely on. This led to a parasitic relationship where they provided their savior with everything possible, while the savior offered them security. Failure to choose a reliable host led to their doom, resulting in the destruction of entire villages or cities.
