As soon as Sarena heard Mordret's suggestion, she swung her axe with unprecedented speed.
"Kruuaaggh!" The severed head of the Scavenger Boar spiraled through the air and rolled on the ground, leaving a trail of blood in its wake.
The decapitated corpse gradually ceased its movements.
"Haah… It's dead." Sarena heaved a sigh of relief at the sight. But her respite was short-lived as another undead creature lunged at her.
Despite arrows lodged in its skull and shattered legs, it moved relentlessly.
"Arghhh!" With a fierce cry, Sarena swung her axe once more, severing the head of the monstrous Scavenger Boar.
"Behead them! Only then will the corpses cease to move!"
Easier said than done.
The thick hide, sturdy bones, and dense flesh… slicing through it all in one swift swing was a feat only achievable by the daughter of the fallen village warrior, not the terrified villagers.
