After Kyra made them breakfast, she helped Lucas eat and drink water. She also wanted to bathe him, but he refused.
When Lucas fell asleep, Kyra rubbed her temples, realizing she had forgotten to tell him about the council meeting.
As she walked into the living room, she heard a knock at the door. Opening it, she found Mia standing there, waving cheerfully. "Hi," Mia said, her smile bright.
"Hi! Mia, why are you standing there? Please come inside," Kyra invited, but Mia hurriedly shook her head.
"Kyra, remember, today is the council meeting. You have to attend since Lucas is injured. Don't worry, I'll take you there, and Pablo will take care of Lucas, right?" Mia said, glancing at Pablo, who nodded in agreement.
Kyra smiled at Pablo, her cheeks flushing slightly when she noticed the hickey on his neck. Embarrassed, she looked away and saw that all of Mia's mates bore similar marks.
