Lucas sat on the soft carpet, transforming into his wolf form. He took a moment to groom his fur, knowing that it was essential for his well-being. As he licked his fur, his ocean blue eyes filled with sadness. He noticed a clump of white fur nearby, and he realised that he was shedding more than usual.
"It's all because of that jerk, Vincent!" Lucas thought to himself. "If that sneaky snake hadn't kidnapped me, I would be at home using my favorite shampoo and taking care of my fur all day long."
Ever since he started living alone, Lucas spent most of his time grooming his fur, hunting for food, and protecting his tribe. He also enjoyed scratching the sofas and looking after his carrot farm. Speaking of the carrot farm, he missed it dearly. It was located in his backyard and served as a source of extra income for him.
Working as a dealer, Lucas regularly sold all his carrots every month to his buddy who owned a shop in the market. He knew that most of the buyers were rabbits who preferred the convenience of purchasing directly from the market. Going deep into the jungle was risky and time-consuming, with dangers lurking at every corner. Although most Beastmen refrained from harming each other, there were still wild Beast in the area that fiercely protected their territories.
In addition to carrots, Lucas also planted other vegetables for his daily meals. He had two trees, one bearing mangoes and the other was strawberry plant. He had been looking forward to showing Kyra his farm when they returned from the market, but they ended up here instead.
Lucas couldn't help but feel bored in this place. He longed to run freely in the forest, feeling the wind caress his body. Lost in his thoughts, he failed to notice that Kyra had already finished washing herself. She was now wearing a light pink dress with a subtle flower design, which reached just above her thighs, revealing her legs. The dress hugged her chest slightly, accentuating her cleavage. Her fair face looked soft and smooth after the shower, with a hint of pink on her cheeks.
"Lucas!" She called out, and his head snapped up, immediately responding to the sound of her voice.
He turned towards her with a warm smile on his face and asked, "Are you ready?"
But suddenly, alarm bells started ringing in his mind as he noticed her gaze fixed on his clump of fur.
Lucas's heart skipped a beat. He looked at her with wide eyes, as if he had been caught doing something wrong.
"These are not my fluff," Lucas spoke up, standing up and pointing at the fluffs on the carpet as he walked towards her.
"Huh! If it's not yours, then whose?" She looked at him with a puzzled expression, tilting her head to the side.
"Uh... yeah, it's actually Vincent. How dare he shed so much fur here?" Lucas spoke angrily, nodding his head in disapproval.
Kyra: "..."
"Lucas, are you sure it's Vincent's and not yours?" Kyra spoke, struggling to hold back her laughter.
"I've never been sure," he proudly admitted, grinning.
Unable to control herself, Kyra burst into laughter as she walked towards him. The more she looked at Lucas, the more she couldn't help but laugh.
"Why are you laughing?" Lucas pouted, but upon seeing his adorable antics, Kyra tiptoed and playfully pinched his cheeks.
"My silly Mr. handsome wolf, did you forget that snakes don't have fur but scales and smooth skin?" she said, laughing. "And who else has such shiny fur other than my wolf?"
Hearing her words, Lucas blushed. "Yeah, it's mine," he spoke ashamedly.
Kyra bit her lips softly and cupped his cheeks. "It's completely normal to shed fur. Even my hair falls out. But Lucas, it's a bad habit to lie or blame others, okay?"
"Y-yeah," he said, gazing into her hazel-blue eyes, finding himself getting lost in them.
His eyes wandered down to her lips, her neck, and finally stopped at her cleavage...
"Eyes up," Kyra raised his cheeks and lightly slapped them, causing Lucas to pucker his lips.
"Haha, sorry," Kyra said, kissing the cheeks where she had lightly slapped him. Lucas smiled and held her elbow as they both laughed, looking at each other as they sat on the bed.
"I'm happy, Kyra. We're finally going back home," Lucas said, smiling happily.
"Me too! But I also want to go to the place where you found me, Lucas," Kyra said, causing Lucas to freeze.
The sudden warm atmosphere turned tense.
Lucas stiffened. "Why? Do you want to go back to your world? Are you sad because I couldn't protect you and because of me, you're here..." Lucas spoke in a panicked tone.
He started taking deep breaths. "I'm sorry, Kyra... I-I..."
"It's okay, Lucas," Kyra pulled him into a hug and patted his back. "Take deep breaths. I'm not leaving you."
"Really?" He spoke, his eyes shining brightly.
"Yeah!" Kyra kissed his forehead. "I don't want to leave you. You're my wolf, my Mr. Wolf."
"Then why--" he started to ask, staring into her eyes.
"I just want to see if there was my bag or something because I remember holding one. So, I want to check if the bag is here or not," she explained.
Lucas sighed in relief and hugged her waist tightly. "You scared me for a moment. I thought you wanted to leave me for your original world," he spoke, rubbing his head against her stomach.
"Silly wolf," Kyra smiled, her hand caressing his smooth, silver hair.
