In the study room, Lucas and Vincent sat together, glaring at Kyle.
"Ew! He doesn't look that good. Why is he always grooming his hair?" Lucas commented, glaring at Kyle.
"Yeah! Look at him, he's staring at her like he's never seen a female before." Vincent Said, eyeing them. He didn't like seeing them together.
"Yeah, he should keep his distance from Kyra. Doesn't he realize how bad he stinks?" Lucas wrinkled his nose in disgust.
"He's ugly." they both muttered in unison. Their eyes widened as they glared at each other and then looked away.
"Have you seen my claws?" Lucas asked, displaying his nails, which he extended longer.
"No, I'm blind." Vincent said, rolling his eyes.
"I know, but look, they're so sharp, perfect for tearing someone's body apart." Lucas said, glaring at Vincent as he wiggled his nails.
"Have you seen my fangs?" Vincent said coldly. "One bite and someone will turn blue and black within seconds." as he revealed his sharp fangs.
Both continued to glare at each other, then after a while they turned their attention back to Kyle.
Kyle was standing very close to Kyra, who was engrossed in drawing something on thick paper, holding a graphite stick.
Kyra couldn't draw while sitting because the paper was too big, so she stood while drawing.
She appeared very serious and focused, completely oblivious to Kyle's shy and admiring glances directed her way.
"Snakes like to stay in nests. They prefer cooler places, so they are often found in either forests or near water, right?" Kyra asked without raising her head.
"Yeah! That's another difficulty when we're trying to build a tribe. We have to live like regular Beast beings, but we can't stand hot weather." Kyle said, glancing at her hand as she sketched a rough design on the paper.
Hearing them, Vincent walked towards them and stood behind Kyra, observing her drawing, and Lucas followed suit. Kyra was shorter than both of them, so they could see everything clearly.
However, they couldn't understand her blueprint.
Actually, when Kyle drew blueprints, he made rough house designs for easy understanding. However, Kyra was sketching very detailed plans for the whole house.
However, she didn't plan the whole tribe's blueprint because she couldn't properly draw it without seeing the land first.
Kyra had been mastering the 16 arts of perfection. In her original world, after the apocalypse, many people were afflicted with diseases, and some were disabled. Only a few individuals were both intelligent and healthy. To restore their world to its former state before the apocalypse, Kyra had been volunteering from a young age.
Her main tasks involved helping people heal and creating blueprints, as well as assisting in manufacturing.
Kyra finished sketching the blueprints, finding the task surprisingly manageable. She believed she could have done an even better job with her computer or iPad. As she set aside her graphite stick and turned around, unaware of Lucas and Vincent standing closely behind her, a collision became inevitable.
Kyra's eyes widened as a pleasant scent wafted into her nose. Raising her head, she found both of them gazing at her—one with cold eyes and the other with warm eyes. Vincent exuded an aura of devil with his midnight eyes, while Lucas appeared angelic with his silver hair and ocean blue eyes.
Her heart raced as she couldn't help but notice their extraordinary handsomeness. They were both incredibly attractive in their own unique ways, and their hot bodies only added to their undeniable appeal.
"Kyra, are you finished?" Lucas inquired.
"Not quite! I've only completed the house blueprint. I still need to inspect the land for further planning." she replied softly.
"I'll accompany you to the site." Vincent offered in a low voice. Kyra's heart skipped a beat as his proximity intensified, feeling his breath gently caress her face.
Blushing, Kyra attempted to retreat backward, but before she could, her waist collided with the table's edge. Fortunately, Vincent swiftly caught her, his arms wrapping around her waist and pulling her towards him. The impact caused her nose to lightly bump against his strong chest.
Lucas gently grasped Kyra's wrist and pulled her closer to him, wearing a smug smile directed at Kyle and Vincent. "My female needs some rest. I'll be taking her now, alright? Bye" he swiftly announced, whisking Kyra away from the study room.
Kyle's expression turned melancholic as he stared at the closed door.
"Vins! I really like this female." Kyle admitted, leaning over the table with a dreamy look in his eyes.
Hearing Kyle's confession, Vincent's body tensed up, and jealousy began to simmer within him. He turned to face Kyle with an intense gaze that sent shivers down Kyle's spine.
"What's gotten into you? Don't look at me as if you want to devour me alive." Kyle said, his voice trembling as he stood upright.
"I don't approve of her." Vincent responded in a dark tone.
"Why not? She's beautiful, intelligent, and talented. I'm already in love with her." Kyle declared, a mischievous glint in his eyes.
"No, you can't." Vincent asserted, using his inner strength to assert his dominance.
"You can't tell me what to do, Vins! Even though you're almost my best friend, I'm already infatuated with that female," Kyle retorted coldly
As Kyle's words reached Vincent's ears, his heart clenched tightly.
Vincent was already feeling uncomfortable with the thought of Lucas and Kyra being together, and Kyle's words only added salt to his wounds.
"I said you can't," Vincent said icily.
"No, I love her," Kyle insisted, suppressing a smile as he enjoyed seeing his friend's jealousy. Despite feeling the pressure from his friend aura, he needed Vincent to recognize his own feelings before Kyra and Lucas departed.
"No, you can't," Vincent shouted, his temper flaring. "Because...because..." he paused abruptly.
"Because why, Vincent?" Kyle asked, observing his expression.
"Because she's mine!" Vincent finally shouted, unable to contain his emotions any longer.
