The next morning, Kyra woke up and felt something soft beneath her hands. She touched it and immediately opened her eyes when she realized it was Lucas in his wolf form.
She was gently hugging him from the side while he slept peacefully. Her hand rested in the thick fur around his neck, which felt really comfortable to touch.
She sat up on the bed, running her fingers through his fur. It was incredibly fluffy, even more so than any cat or dog she had ever encountered.
"Purr..." Lucas let out a contented purr as he slowly opened his sleepy, ocean blue eyes. He stretched his forelimbs and shook his entire body, fluffing up his fur. Then, he circled around Kyra, making sure his fur brushed against her body.
"Ah, Lucas," Kyra giggled as Lucas began to lick her hands.
"Awww..." She continued to stroke his head, and he closed his eyes, clearly enjoying the attention. He rested his head on her lap.
Wahwah! He adored being petted.
Kyra also relished the feeling of running her hands through his soft fur. His fluffy tail coiled around her wrist, adding an extra layer of warmth and coziness to the moment.
Lucas felt relieved to see Kyra looking normal and not sad or scared when she woke up. He stood up, looking at Kyra with his gentle, diluted eyes, and he felt happy to see her hazel blue eyes focused only on him.
"Wooof," he growled softly, almost like a kitten, and he started playfully flipping and flopping, showing his belly to Kyra.
Seeing him in this adorable state, Kyra couldn't resist getting closer to him. "Aww... do you want belly rubs?" she asked with amusement. Lucas blushed, nodding his fluffy wolf face.
Thankfully, he was still in his wolf form. If he had been in his human form, Kyra would have discovered his shyness and his mighty image might have collapsed before her.
Kyra began rubbing his belly, and Lucas let out a giggle. It was the first time Kyra had seen a wolf smile, and she was pleasantly surprised.
However, Lucas started feeling a bit sensitive. He had never let anyone touch his belly before, not even his mom, and now Kyra was touching him. He became hard.
Flushing, he turned away from Kyra and growled, "Woooof" I'm going to take a shower, as he hurriedly ran toward the bathroom, leaving Kyra puzzled.
She couldn't understand why he suddenly seemed to be uncomfortable after enjoying what had just happened. She shrugged her shoulders, but the events of the previous day flooded in her mind.
*Flashback*
Emma's two male mates pounced on her, showing their sharp fangs. In a swift reaction, she used her hands to hold one of their mouths shut and kicked the other into the wall. Emma looked at Kyra in shock, realizing that her mates were rank three snakes, not easy to beat for any normal female.
Fear gripped Emma as she slowly backed towards the door, but Kyra's smile turned cold, like queen. She walked confidently towards Emma, and with a flick of her wrist, snakes slithered around Emma's neck, tightening grip. Kyra's voice was icy as she spoke, "Surprised? Well, you should be." The choking pressure intensified, and Emma struggled for breath.
"Who are you, and what do you want?" Kyra's eyes were cold and indifferent, creating a terrifying aura that shook Emma to her core. This was not the gentle and easygoing female she had been led to believe. This female was truly terrifying.
Emma shook her head rapidly, pleading silently through her eyes. She was actually a coward, always pampered by her males. She never had to lift a finger for even the simplest tasks like bathing or brushing. Her days were spent dolling herself up and indulging in the pleasures provided by her numerous male mates. Whenever she needed to deal with someone, her males always took care of it.
Now, faced with a threatening warning and the imminent danger of being killed using her own male body, Emma was truly terrified. She vowed to herself that once she escaped this situation, she would make this female suffer. If only she were a venomous snake, she would have killed this female long ago. But alas, she was a non-poisonous snake, lacking the means to defend herself effectively.
"Tell me," Kyra demanded, her grip tightening on the snake who had already fainted due to the lack of air. Emma's eyes rolled back as she struggled to breathe.
"I-I just don't want you here... Y-you should go back where you came from," Emma stuttered, hoping to appease Kyra. As Kyra's grip loosened slightly, Emma let out a sigh of relief. However, her relief was short-lived as Kyra suddenly grabbed her and threw her to the ground. Stars appeared in Emma's vision as she trembled in fear, hugging herself and bursting into tears. "I'm sorry... I'm sorry... ow... please, just leave me alone," Emma cried, uttering apologies for the first time in her pampered life. She had never felt such humiliation before.
But then, Kyra's expression abruptly changed. She began to feel a strange sensation throughout her entire body. It felt as if her bones were being crushed, her head started to spin, and she noticed something wet on her fingers. She raised her hand and saw transparent, sparkling fluid. However, before she could examine it further, a sudden sharp pain struck her head.
She turned around and saw Emma smirking at her, holding a vase in her hand.
*Flashback end*
That's how she ended up in such a dangerous situation. If it weren't for that sudden pain, she would have been able to handle everything herself.
Her body trembled as she recalled the terrifying thought of almost being buried alive. If Lucas hadn't come back in time, she would have almost died...
She quickly shook off those thoughts, but the more she tried to push them away, the more vividly she remembered every detail. Determined to distract herself, she climbed off the bed and turned her attention to the mirror.
She needed to take care of her skin and noticed that her eyebrows were overgrown. But those were trivial matters compared to what had just happened. She sighed and lowered her head, trying to regain her composure. However, when she raised her head, she was startled by the sight of a dark shadow in the mirror.
"Ahh..." Her eyes widened in fear.
