Just as Kyra was about to step into the water, a shadow rose from the depths. Her breath caught in her throat as bubbles appeared on the river's surface, and suddenly, Oceanus leaped out of the water like a dolphin, his body glistening in the moonlight.
His once-human form had shifted into something both magnificent and fierce—a siren with a long, powerful tail covered in sleek, dark gray scales that shimmered as he moved. His webbed hands and claws were slightly larger now, sharp and strong, and his turquoise eyes glowed with an light intensity that captivated her.
Kyra's mouth dropped open in awe. The sight of him was breathtaking—dangerous yet incredibly beautiful all at once.
Oceanus swam gracefully toward the shore, his body slicing through the water effortlessly. As he reached the shallow part, he lifted his head, water streaming down his scales. His eyes remained fixed on Kyra, watching her every reaction.
