Leader Marc sat cross-legged on one of the mats. The group had settled into a circle, each person finding their place on the mats spread across the cave floor.
"We'll be staying put for now," Marc began, his tone firm yet calm. "Before we head out, we need to finalize our plans. Here's how it's going to work."
He pointed to the first group. "Kai, Theo, and Rowan—you'll be in charge of finding a fresh water source. It's crucial we locate water to sustain us. For now, make sure your gear is ready and get any necessary supplies in order."
Kai stretched, ready for action. "Understood. We'll keep our eyes peeled."
Marc then turned to the second group. "Ash, Rylan, and Jax—you're responsible for scouting out additional shelter options. If this cave becomes compromised, we need backup locations. Start preparing and be ready for when we move out."
Ash nodded. "We'll have backup plans in place."
