Kyra looked around the quiet forest, her hands brushing against the leaves branch which was slightly lowered. Everything felt real, but she wondered if this space was just in her imagination.
Suddenly, her perspective shifted. She could see everything clearly as if through her own eyes, but she had no control over her body.
Seeing Damon and Lucas hesitate with Kaia hurt her deeply. Kaia was as much a part of her as Kyra herself, and their hesitation made her feel a sharp pang of rejection. Kaia sighed, and with a heavy heart, she gave control back to Kyra, her sad voice echoing, 'It's okay.'
Kyra, feeling the sadness her other half endured, wished she could comfort her, but now wasn't the time. She had to let it go for the moment and focus on the next task. Tomorrow, they would head to Silver Peak Mountain, and she needed to be ready for what awaited them there.
