Lucas started chewing, his eyes widened, and his breathing quickened.
He gulped down the food and looked at Vincent blankly.
"I would rather drink your poison than eat the food you made." Lucas said.
Vincent tilted his head, confused.
"What do you mean?" he asked, raising an eyebrow.
"I-I have never eaten such food in my life... I should have died before eating this... I feel like my body is shutting down." Lucas said, clutching his heart.
Kyra remained silent, her thoughts mirroring Lucas's distress.
Vincent took a bite from his plate, his expression changing. "I did make it right! I think your vegetables are too sweet," he said, defending his cooking.
Lucas: "..." I'm having kidney failure!
Kyra : "..." I am mute.
"I'm poisoned... You—you! How much sugar and oil did you put in the vegetables, and why did you fry ginger?" Lucas pointed accusingly at Vincent.
