"Wow, this situation is truly unexpected."
Rubbing his chin with one of his tails, Asahiko speaks loudly to himself, though Shippo doesn't seem to mind and asks him a question instantly.
"What's so unexpected about it, Inuyasha always gets hit from right to left."
"Um, um, he little Shippo has a good point.
"Wow a little understanding with poor Inuyasha, he's trying his best. By the way Kagome, you don't want to get out from behind my back, it's not like it's awkward or anything... Ha-ha-ha"
Despite her words, Asahiko's blue eyes carry a clear plea for help towards Miroku and the big monk seems to receive it, though he shakes his head before moving towards Sango.
"No, I'm staying here and this way I won't be a hindrance to Inuyasha. Besides, I don't understand why you would have discomfort."
"Darling, you've been pinching me in the side ever since we started teasing Inuyasha."
"I'm sorry, I thought I had stopped."
Releasing the grip he had on Asahiko, the attention of the two of them is drawn back to the fray as Inuyasha is thrown to the side and Juromaru lays his eyes on them.
"Hiraikotsu!"
Sango was ready from the start, making her the first to act in a preemptive strike, though something strange seems to happen and Sango's boomerang is easily redirected to the side.
Despite her clear surprise at missing with Hiraikotsu, Sango takes a few steps back and exchanges places with Miroku, who extends his right hand in Juromaru's direction. From Miroku's right hand, a powerful force of attraction is released, drawing all nearby debris from the battlefield towards him.
"Do you see the same thing I do? Miroku literally has a black hole in his palm... What logic is there in that!"
"It is a curse imposed on his family by Naraku."
While Asahiko gets the explanation from Kagome, the tug-of-war battle between the other two continues. Juromaru seems to have immense strength, taking advantage of that he stomps his feet to the ground thus nailing himself to it, but the most surprising thing is that the object that neutralized Hiraikotsu is back and is now going after Miroku.
"I'm here too!"
Leaping from the surrounding forest in a rather beaten state, Inuyasha waves his heavy Steel Fang towards the blurry figure, though it changes direction in midair itself and easily avoids him.
"Inuyasha, when you attack by surprise you don't have to shout it out."
"Shut up Asahiko and come help."
"I'm glad you're asking for my help, but at this instant I'm taking care of Kagome and Shippo. On the other hand it's not as hard as it may seem, although just so you don't say I'm mean and so the girl behind me stops pinching me, I'll lend you my second dog"
Under everyone's surprised look and finishing his words, Asahiko places a confident smile and points forward with his index finger. Followed by this a gust of wind sweeps the surroundings, shaking the trees and kicking up the surrounding dust... It was Koga the wolf boy.
"Young Koga!"
"Yo Kagome, but what are you doing there?"
"I'm staying with Asahiko to keep Inuyasha from getting out of the fight."
Nodding as he finds some logic in her words, Koga takes a close look at Asahiko's current appearance, then turns and is left facing Juromaru who is now free from the pull of Miroku's black hole.
"Koga... Sneaky coward, I don't need your help, do you think I saw how you escaped from here after being beaten?"
"Shut up animal, it was a strategic retreat and knowing that Kagome might be in danger because of you, I came back at full speed."
Lifting his numb body, Juromaru slowly opens his mouth and from inside it something can be noticed, though only Asahiko seems to know the danger it poses.
"Tsh, I'll deal with you later."
"Ha, keep dreaming dog. let's see who beats them first!"
Christopher/Asahiko pov.
Truly amazingly those two work well together, albeit separately together, as when they try to make a joint attack they are brutally beaten.
"Get out of my way, you filthy animal!"
"Move out of the way you fucking coward!"
Watching as they yell at each other, after both have been knocked to the side, I stroke my nose bridge and with quite a bit of weariness in my voice give them a little help.
"Hey, there's a time where the parasite must return to Juromaru's body, isn't that the best time to erase the two of you together?"
Yes, the strange thing that had beaten Hiraikotsu and was trying to attack Miroku, was a parasitic being that lives inside Juromaru. Its appearance is quite ugly with a human face, it has mantis blades instead of hands and its whole body looks like a fleshy white larva.
"And how are we going to do that, he can't even swing his sword right."
"Shut up... I know how to do it."
Despite having shouted at each other moments ago, something seems to click and after a few glances, they both confirm with their heads.
Getting up from the ground, Koga takes advantage of his speed to take off after the parasite, though he doesn't seem to want to get into a fight, but is slowly closing his escape routes. On the other hand Inuyasha guards Steel Fang and enters into a brute force combat with Juromaru, leaving his back wide open to a surprise attack.
Feeling highly pressured by Koga, the parasite who has realized that the surprise effect has worn off, twists his direction and increases his speed towards Inuyasha's back.
"Get over there!"
"Let go of me!"
Twisting Juromaru's hands in order to let go, Inuyasha quickly kicks him in the chest with a kick and pulls himself to the side. Crawling on the ground without any finesse, then Inuyasha guides his hand towards Steel Fang and releases that dangerous technique.
"Slashing wind!"
*Booooom!
The energy released from Steel Fang causes the surrounding wind to stir, I even thought I felt Kagome grabbing onto me so she wouldn't be affected.
"Fiu~ Tsh, I still can't whistle...anyway, good technique Inuyasha."
"Inuyasha!"
"Don't yell in my ear!"
Wanting to continue with my words, I notice how Kagome completely ignores me and runs off towards Inuyasha, who by the way is quite hurt. Oh, wait, Kagome was accosted by Koga... Inuyasha with jealousy... YES, is it a boyfriend fight?
"I'm going home!"
"Then go!"
"I'm leaving Inuyasha!"
What just happened? No, that's not the point. If she says she's going home, it means she has a way to get back... There's only one way to find out and that's... Obviously to go after her!.
"Where are you going Asahiko?"
"Accompanied her, you can't leave someone angry at her luck."
"Fine, I'll put you in charge of Miss Kagome... In the meantime I'll try to knock some sense into Inuyasha's brain."
Nodding towards Miroku who stands with Sango at Inuyasha's side, I dismount from Kirara and slowly follow Kagome's angry footsteps.
