"How is it that it can stand!"
With the cry of a shrill voice that seems to come from a child, the moon begins its retreat and the sun begins to gather strength for its resurgence.
"Shippo is right and above all a normal human would have died by now."
"Even a youkai would have died if left in that state, it's simply that sword keeping him alive."
"I never thought to say this, but Inuyasha is right."
Sitting side by side, Inuyasha as well as Kagome and Asahiko, begin to talk about the combat situation, while pointing their fingers at Kaijinbo. The newly named is in a fatal state, his skull is caved inward, he has one arm bent beyond belief and seems to be barely conscious.
"Asahiko can't you just take care of that?"
"Sure Kagome and then what do we do with the obviously evil sword?"
Snapping her fingers as she says her first words, Asahiko pauses and flashes Kagome a smile, before continuing to speak.
"That's not a problem, you don't say your sword can control hell. Now you're afraid of a simple cursed sword?"
"Did you just try to control me with my own pride? No, no, don't blush and even well played. Now you've convinced me, I'm already going to take care of that ugly demon."
Chuckling under his breath at the sight of Kagome who seems to have been caught red-handed, Asahiko gets up from the ground and ignoring the face of Inuyasha who seems to have discovered a new continent, he grabs Cloud Fang ready for combat.
"You're going to keep hiding back there Inuyasha! With the children and the women!"
"Don't listen to him Inuyasha, he just wants to provoke you."
"Shippo is telling the truth Inuyasha, just let Asahiko handle it."
Kaijinbo at last recovered from his wounds thanks to Tokijin's energy, he raises his sword again and points it towards Inuyasha. His taunting words were simple but effective, causing Inuyasha to grit his teeth and get up from his spot, then start running towards him.
"Inuyasha!"
"Silly dog, what are you doing?"
"I'm not going to let you make fun of me anymore. I'm going to finish you!"
*boom*
Before Inuyasha could do something stupid, a lightning bolt fell from the sky and from the cloud of dust, a certain blacksmith could be seen. It was Totosai's elder along with his cow/ox who had just arrived.
"Totosai!"
"Have you repaired Steel Fang yet?"
"You could say it's repaired... But I don't know."
"You're late Totosai, hand her over to me!"
As Totosai tries to answer Sango and Miroku, Inuyasha takes the opportunity to grab Steel Fang quickly, before moving to Asahiko's side to change places in combat.
"Wow, stop right there buddy."
"What do you want Asahiko!"
"Me nothing, but maybe you should listen to the flea."
Without letting go of Inuyasha's shoulder despite his insistence, Asahiko speaks calmly and points towards the new guest who is Myoga the flea youkai.
"You must not use the Steel Fang in its human form, Master Inuyasha. If you still use it, the sword will not change form and will only put your life in danger."
"You want me to stay here and do nothing."
"It's just a few moments before dawn master Inuyasha, just wait a few more minutes."
With Myoga persuading Inuyasha, he finally gets Inuyasha to calm down for a few seconds and start thinking better, though this doesn't seem to matter to Kaijinbo who is now focused on Totosai.
"Long time no see Kaijinbo."
"Old man Totosai, are you still alive?
"I see you've made a truly powerful sword... Where do you get so much evil?"
"Hahaha... Totosai, you never understood how to make real swords. Here and now I will show you who has forged the most powerful sword in all of history!"
The conversation between Kaijinbo and Totosai seemed to be loaded with meaning, it was as if they already knew each other for a long time. Miroku being the brains of the team, quickly realizes that fact and asks Totosai the question.
"Mr. Totosai, do you know that man named Kaijinbo?"
"He was one of my disciples, I was supposed to exile him from these lands, since that criminal murdered ten innocent children in the cruelest way... All to make a sword. The secret of his creations is the pain, the flesh and blood of his victims... Only then do his weapons take on incredible evil powers."
Totosai's words were laden with regret, it was as if he blamed himself for showing this path to Kaijinbo and his expression only confirmed it.
"Stand up for yourself Inuyasha! Let him see Totosai how he destroyed that sword right in front of his eyes!"
"Let go of me Asahiko. This is between me and him now."
"Umm... Fine."
Noticing the seriousness in Inuyasha's words, Asahiko lets go of his shoulder and Inuyasha quickly unsheathes Steel Fang, before rushing to the attack. As that happens, Asahiko moves towards Totosai seeing something interesting happening.
"You'd better have strengthened Steel Fang."
"Heh? A little... Maybe."
"That won't be enough Totosai!"
"Kagome's concern is correct, that sword has been forged from the fangs of the demon that destroyed Steel Fang earlier."
"Ohhh!"
Kagome seems to want to jump and grab Totosai by the neck, while Shippo who spoke for the first time, hides behind Sango who speaks for the last time, before Totosai's Oh.
"Shingg!"
The clash between Inuyasha's sword and Kaijinbo, didn't have any spectacular explosion or loud noise, they were as if two normal swords were exchanging blows. That was until with a maniacal laugh from Kaijinbo, a flash of lightning came out of Tokijin and sent Inuyasha backwards.
Taking advantage of Inuyasha's fall, Kaijinbo runs quickly to finish him off, but Inuyasha blocks his sword and rolls to the side, before returning to the attack. There were a few touches between their swords here and there, until the two retreated to take space.
"It didn't break!"
"Well that was already assumed."
"But even though Steel Fang is resisting, Inuyasha's body is in danger."
While Shippo, Totosai and Kagome talk about the situation, Kaijinbo points towards Inuyasha with his sword and starts laughing.
"Hahaha, before I break the sword I'll smash your body!"
"Haha, I'm sorry to tell you this but... I accept that your sword has an amazing edge, but you don't have the necessary skills. You should have butchered me from the start!"
The source of Inuyasha's confidence quickly reveals itself, as his hair begins to turn white, his nails grow and an atmosphere of power surrounds his entire body. Enjoying the moment, Inuyasha waves Steel Fang and the sword transforms into the huge version.
"¡Jajajaja!"
"What have you done to my sword, old man Totosai!"
"What have you done to Steel Fang!"
With Asahiko's hysterical laughter at the sight of Inuyasha's sword getting stuck in the ground, Totosai scratches his head at Inuyasha's words and begins to think, though he then replies ignorantly.
"You're not satisfied?"
"Don't talk nonsense, this sword is heavy!"
Shouting at Totosai, Inuyasha grabs Steel Fang with his two hands and even then it's not getting up from the ground.
"Oh, that part... Yeah, that belongs to the fang you gave me to melt it down, don't listen to it."
"Hahaha, you won't be able to save yourself with your sword Inuyasha, now I will destroy you!"
Insulting Inuyasha, Kaijinbo grabs Tokijin with two hands and advances in a direct attack at full speed, not caring at all about Inuyasha's situation.
"Move your sword Inuyasha, or Kaijinbo will finish you off!""
"Listen to Totosai, move that huge hunk of iron!"
"Shut up you two!"
Asahiko and Totosai shrug their shoulders at Kagome's words, while their eyes now look at the effort Inuyasha makes so he can lift Steel Fang.
