"Mystery era..."
Everyone looked away from the room and looked at Lee Joon, who didn't expect to be heard so perfectly.
Sensing the stares, Lee Joon snapped out of his shocked state, looking away from what seemed to be a room.
"What do you mean by the era of the mystery?" Liana, who had recovered a little, but her body was still trembling, asked, curious and nervous at the same time.
On the other hand, Kleint, who had recovered a bit of reason and his head had cooled down, fell into deep thought, hearing what Lee Joon said. And Alice also recovers quickly.
Lee Joon finished calming down and began to speak, "Well, I'm not entirely sure, and if thinking is sure.
"But I think this place is connected to the mystery era because of an alchemy book; according to what Kleint said, the author belonged to that era.
"That's why I concluded that this might belong to the mystery era, but I can't be sure of that just by looking at that and what Kleint said."
Lee Joon gave his point of view; he believed this place was related to the "Mystery Era" because it connects the ancient alchemy book, which said that the book's author was Willowbrook, which belongs to that era.
This was a thought shared by Liana and Kleint, but he still had doubts, so he couldn't confirm what Lee Joon said and didn't rule it out either.
Sigh, we need to get the regressor to say something... Kleint looked at Alice, who had recovered and had the same calm and indifferent expression.
But seeing that Alice didn't feel like talking, he sighed inwardly, shaking his head slightly, and turned to look again at what looked like a room with again.
Quickly glancing around the place, feeling a shiver down the Kleint sword, he wonders, "What do we do now? Do we leave this place or look around?"
Alice didn't answer immediately; she first looked around the room briefly, looking for any latent danger, and found nothing strange. With a small sigh, she, with a severe and heavy voice, said, "Let's check the surroundings, but don't touch anything in the place. Absolutely nothing."
Everyone swallowed saliva and nervously attended, catching Alice's warning not to get carried away by curiosity. That said, she began to look around.
Kleint began to look around with extreme caution. He had no intention of touching anything, not wanting to probe his luck. Looking around the room, I found nothing exciting or any items.
Besides, he didn't want to get too close to what appeared to be an inverted crucified god because he didn't know what would happen if he got too close to that place.
...
Moments later, Kleint, who had seen almost the entire room and avoided the part where the veil with the crimson stars was located, had found absolutely nothing during all this time; the only part that remained to be checked was where the veil was next to the altar.
None of them want to go to this area, including Alice... It seems that she is not very familiar with this place, so she didn't go to that altar... Kleint looked to where the others were, and they all avoided the area where the crimson blood of the creatures on the pillars was falling.
He intended to approach the altar and look at the veil with crimson stars, but he did not want to get too close to that place. Although he was sure that what was next to the altar was an item, he didn't have the determination to approach it.
Kleint wanted to use his attribute, but he decided not to do it; he felt that something terrible would happen if he said to look at it directly with his attribute, so he discarded the idea.
Seeing that no one had any intention of approaching where the altar was, after weighing it for a few moments and having many doubts, he decided to get closer and not touch anything of the place!
When he got close enough, Kleint could look carefully at the altar while his body trembled, his hair stood on end, and he unconsciously took a step backward.
The statue's appearance was much more detailed than when it was at the end of the long stone corridor.
The figure of what appears to be a god, carved from obsidian stone as black as the starless night, lies face down, nailed to a twisted and disfigured cross, a sinister parody of sacred iconography. His limbs are stretched out in a gesture of anguish and suffering as if he were trapped in eternal torment. The nails piercing his hands and feet are white, which contrasts vividly with the dark and somber tone of the surrounding stone.
The face of the god is covered by a dark and heavy veil, which hides his features but fails to conceal the intensity of his suffering. Despite the lack of visible expression, one can feel the anguish and torment emanating from the statue as if trapped in an eternal and painful moment.
The most disturbing thing about this statue is the tears that flow from the eyes of the crucified god. These tears are a deep, sinister red, contrasting with the white purity of the nails that hold him. They flow slowly down the statue's cheeks, creating furrows in the stone as they fall to the ground in an ominous rhythm.
Kleint, observing the statue closely, perceives an evil and oppressive sensation that seems to emanate from it. It is as if it is permeated with a dark and disturbing energy that clings to anyone who comes too close.
The atmosphere around the statue is charged and heavy as if permeated with the very essence of suffering and despair.
Quickly averting his gaze from the stake, he fixed his gaze on the "Dark veil," whose dark fabric was interwoven with intertwined flashes of crimson stars as if they were points of light in the darkness.
Kleint, seeing the veil so close, had the intention of touching it to feel its texture. Even though he was urged to touch the veil, he resisted for fear of triggering something troublesome.
I've watched too many anime and novels not to touch anything in places like this and not wake up some powerful monsters... Kleint finished looking at the veil, repressing his desire to touch it, turned around, and started to leave.
At that moment, a supernatural breeze hit the place, disconcerting everyone with this abnormality.
The veil next to the altar or statue flew off and fell softly into Kleint's hands, perplexed by what had just happened.
Without giving him time to think.
Retumble! Retumble! Retumble! The whole place began to shake violently while a strange creature slowly began to form from the fountain of crimson blood.
