Taro's real body entered the viscous mass of the Corrosive Mud Slime cautiously. Inside the slimy mass, he didn't rush, avoiding any sudden movements that could trigger the collapse of his Shadow Veil. Taro closed in on the core of the creature, his hand reaching out to grasp it tightly.
With the core in hand, Taro didn't waste a second. He activated his Eclipse Blitz Dash, using its power to burst out of the Corrosive Mud Slime's body at lightning speed. But he didn't stop there.
As he burst free, he tore through the body of the Corrosive Mud Slime with his Shadow Claw Slash, clearing a path to safety.
Despite his efforts, Taro couldn't avoid some damage. The corrosive mud clung to him, burning his skin as he broke free. But as soon as the core left the creature's body, the mud lost its corrosive properties, transforming into a harmless liquid.
