"Lucy, I mean Luciana how are you doing today? Why did you not knock? I would have cleaned up if I had known you were coming." said Zenyph apologetically, noticing the platinum-blonde angel glaring daggers at him.
Lynette straightened her posture, pulling a blanket over herself to hide her exposed body. The obsidian-haired woman flashed an icy stare back at the platinum-blonde angel.
"None of that matters, I am here for you," replied the platinum-haired woman dismissively brushing aside his concerns.
"What is so important that you came running to my room? I didn't kill a named Abyssal so I assumed our deal was null and void. You could've called me and we could've met someplace discreet." countered Zenyph trying to understand her intentions.
"You do know we watched everything that happened back on planet Genesis. Especially the fight between Asura and that Abyssal. It was impressive, and it caught the eyes of powerful individuals who wish to meet Asura," said Luciana as she moved closer to Zenyph.
"But what you did caught the eyes of monsters Zenyph. I mean fucking Chaos. That goddess was Chaos? I fought Chaos!" Luciana screamed.
"Chaos?" asked Lynette completely out of the loop.
"You didn't tell her? Oh, dear how naughty. Well, let me fill her in. You see darling Lynette, chaos is one of the supreme entities in our universe. The rules of physics and laws of this universe don't apply to her. She is an anomaly, a mistake if you will. Her existence is a constant danger to this world. Anyhow, that goddess, or whatever is called Chaos, she is in the same camp as the 5 great gods in existence. The last time anyone saw her was back when the First Empress formed the current Lusean Empire." explained Luciana dramatically as she paced back and forth waving her hands about wildly.
"Lucy, are you a fan of hers? You seem pretty excited." joked Zenyph chuckling at the platinum blonde's behavior.
"Of course I am, Chaos was a badass, she and her companions reaped through the pantheons of ancient empires until there was nothing left. She caused complete and utter chaos. She killed around 60% of every male god and then banished the survivors to the abyss. When she ran out of gods, she went around destroying entire galaxies just for fun. At least that's what the ancient books say." elaborated Luciana enthusiastically.
"How do you know so much about her Lucy?" probed Zenyph curious about her connection to Chaos.
As if he poured cold water on her face, the platinum blonde halted and glared at Zenyph.
"Don't call me that, only those close to me call me that." rebuked the platinum blonde sternly.
Zenyph decided not to press her further, he knew the subject of family and closeness were touchy topics for the blond angel. Instead, he focused on using this to his advantage.
"So does this mean you'll train me? I mean you saw how close I was to Chaos. Imagine how Chaos would feel if you helped me."
"Hell no. I saw what the Goddess was wearing that day. In no way am I helping you become her plaything, so forget it," snapped Luciana fiercely shaking her head fervently.
Lynette suddenly interrupted, "Wait a second, I think we misunderstood you, miss. Are you saying Zenyph was almost enslaved by her?" Lynette gasped horrified by the news.
Zenyph flinched upon hearing such a dramatic conclusion. He had to admit, that even though the idea sounded enticing, he couldn't imagine giving up his freedom to serve the capricious Goddess.
"Who knows." shrugged Luciana indifferently not bothering to explain herself.
"Never mind that, let's get down to business. Several Cynosures have taken an interest in you Zenyph, it's only a matter of time before they find out you can use Chaos. You should prepare yourself because they will hunt you down until you bend the knee. Do you understand?" warned the platinum-blonde angel solemnly as she stared directly into Zenyph's azure irises.
Zenyph frowned displeased by her warning, but he accepted the truth nonetheless. There was no avoiding it now. Everyone will know of his power sooner or later. All he can do is prepare for the worst.
"The only help that you'll receive from me is that I'll keep quiet." declared Luciana decisively crossing her arms together, appearing resolute.
"But I will train Lynette," stated Luciana suddenly surprising the obsidian-haired servant greatly, who merely stood by quietly listening intently.
"Wait a minute, why not me?" demanded Zenyph confused as to why he wasn't picked.
"You have a big fat target painted on your back idiot, that's why. A weak little half-breed like Lynette isn't important. Besides, I can see her potential and it is quite remarkable. I actually got excited just now," commented Luciana openly without a shred of shame in admitting her real thoughts.
"That's not a bad idea. However, how long can she train under you? She has her duties here to attend to." reminded the dragon prince glancing over at Lynette for an answer.
"One month and two weeks, I've already negotiated with headmistress Arietta," replied Luciana calmly before Lynette could interject.
Zenyph raised an eyebrow at her declaration. It seemed that the platinum blonde was a step ahead of him already. He wondered if her intelligence was truly as high as her strength.
"Relax I'm not taking her anywhere. Instead of normal classes, she'll be training with me every day," revealed the platinum-blonde angel honestly revealing her plans.
"Master, I'll be okay. I'll take care of myself don't worry," assured the obsidian-haired servant faithfully reassuring her worried master.
"Alright, if Lynette is okay with it then it's fine with me." acquiesced Zenyph accepting their agreement.
"So why'd you guys kill those two?" asked Luciana
Zenyph hesitated, unsure how he should answer the platinum-blonde woman's question.
"Does it matter?" retorted the obsidian-haired servant, who sent a fiery glare toward the platinum-blonde.
"Aha, he must really care for you to murder innocent girls to protect you." mocked the platinum-blonde woman playfully, shooting Zenyph a wink.
Zenyph narrowed his eyes, suspicious of the platinum blonde's antics.
"Last I checked there wasn't any rule against killing your own classmates." countered the dragon prince defensively.
"I was just messing around." joked the platinum-blonde angel raising her hands and surrendering.
"There isn't any rule but I am curious to see what your other classmates will think and Asura. Wasn't that girl Alice her friend?"
Lynette's ears perked up at the mention of her master's soul fiance's name. Her ruby pupils locked onto his cerulean orbs, searching for an answer to her question.
"Yeah, but I had to do it. I am not sorry and won't apologize to Asura, it's too late," stated Zenyph resolutely.
"Damn, what did Chaos do to you. You've grown some balls since you got here. Didn't think you would kill anyone or even train seriously." remarked Luciana impressed, clearly her impression of the dragon prince drastically changed in less than a week.
"Anyway, a cleaning crew will be here to pick up their bodies. It's been nice talking to you Zenyph, Lynette. I'll pick up Lynette tomorrow after your homeroom ends. See you around," dismissed the platinum-blonde angel as she disappeared from Zenyph's room leaving him alone with his maid.
Lynette glared daggers at Zenyph as she grabbed him by the shoulders and sank her vampire fangs into his neck. Blood spilled out of the wound covering her lips in red liquid.
"Ow, Lynette, what are you doing?" Zenyph groaned in pain.
"Making sure you can't lie to me. Truth venom. A rare skill amongst vampires, it makes the one injected with it speak nothing but truth." Lynette removed her teeth and licked her lips, tasting his blood on her tongue.
"That hurt, I thought you were better than this," Zenyph growled slightly pissed at Lynette, but mostly angry at himself for falling for a trick that old.
"Why didn't you tell me about the goddess?" asked Lynette, ignoring Zenyph's comment.
"Because she didn't do anything to me. I am fine now, plus I didn't really know what happened. Everything just ended after she threatened Luciana." admitted Zenyph truthfully.
"Hmm. Why did Luciana mention you becoming that goddess' plaything? Did something happen between you?" questioned Lynette, eyeing the dragon prince carefully.
"I'm not sure, Chaos seems obsessed with me, so perhaps. But I didn't agree to anything so don't worry," Zenyph explained patiently.
"Fine, just be careful around that deity." urged Lynette, before letting her grip go loose and nuzzling against the dragon prince.
Zenyph nodded, before turning off the lights. He snuggled against Lynette, holding her close to his body enjoying the warmth radiating off her smooth skin.
A smile crept across Zenyph's lips as he lay cuddled together with his favorite maid. He couldn't contain his excitement anymore and peppered Lynette with kisses on her cheeks. The obsidian-haired maid giggled cutely enjoying being pampered by the dragon prince.
They fell asleep shortly afterward wrapped in each other's embrace, forgetting about Alice and Audrey altogether.
Meanwhile, Asura was busy at the library, unaware of the deaths of her roommates.
