In Daisy's mind, first came up the scene of some exciting jav where the women only their head and ran around, but then immediately realized that Susan herself didn't know about her ability malfunction.
Making a fast move, she took off her coat, covered Susan once again, and dragged her into a corner.
Susan's speed is far worse then her, and she looked panicked at this time, not knowing what she wanted to do.
Daisy pointed to her visible bouncing boob, which Susan only noticed at this time. There seemed to be a gap in her ability to cover her whole body. Although this gap was being offset by using her physical power, it would take a little time.
"What's going on?" Daisy was also a woman, and Susan didn't think there was any big problem with her seeing her. She is just curious why her body, under Daisy's hand, experienced ability failure. This might help in her research to use scientific means to explain part of the problem of superpowers.
"Maybe my bio magnetic field is relatively strong, or you were just a little excited and nervous..." Daisy explained insincerely. She guessed Susan's genes weren't stable when she was vibrated by her on the space station, and when it came to external vibrational frequency, her body remembered the frequency.
As for whether the truth is really like this, there need to be experiments to confirm.
Susan didn't think about any vibrational frequency, but felt what Daisy said made sense.
She was indeed quite nervous. Except for those who are too famous or have this kind of kink, no woman can take off her clothes on the street without being nervous. Being caught by someone in this state, it's hard not to be full of adrenaline.
Daisy walked the invisible naked Susan to her car, ready to send her back to the Baxter Building.
"I won't go back for now. Could you please take me back to Long Island?" Susan said.
"What's the matter?" Daisy asked while driving.
Susan tightened her clothes, looking at Daisy's profile, unsure of how to broach the topic.
"Is it something private? Sorry, forget I asked," Daisy said, if Susan didn't want to say it, she naturally wouldn't force her.
"It's indeed private... Do you have a boyfriend, Daisy?" Susan asked, noticing the intricate ring on Daisy's ring finger. The carvings on the ring were gorgeous, and she couldn't identify the material. Susan felt this didn't look like an engagement ring in the traditional sense, so she asked.
Huh? Daisy was slightly taken aback for a moment. Why did the topic come to her? But she didn't feel awkward and frankly admitted, "I have a girlfriend."
Hearing an unexpected answer, Susan's mouth slightly fell open. However, these types of relationships weren't anything unusual, so she quickly composed herself. "Oh, is it Miss Matsumoto, who came with you to the Kennedy Space Center? That's nice."
Daisy couldn't explain her relationship with Maki, so she just let Susan's assumption stand.
Susan wasn't concerned about others' private lives. Such relationships were common in the United States. However, thinking about her own situation irked her. "Have you read the newspapers? You should know about the trouble we're in now, right?"
"Yeah, Mister Fantastic and the Invisible Woman? I have to say, you guys lucked out. Now, you're objects of envy for many," Daisy replied.
"Hah! Envy? I really don't want these abilities. Do you know why I came out today?" Susan asked, her frustration evident.
How could Daisy guess? She shook her head to indicate she didn't know.
"It's Reed!..." Susan then launched into the whole story.
To Daisy, it sounds like Reed was about to do something with Susan... but he ignored his ability to transform, and was too excited. A part of his body instantly stretched too much, directly scaring Susan away.
The picture is a bit dirty, but what's more terrifying that Miss Susan has no healing factor. The Invisible Woman who always has a sweet smile ran out of the Baxter Building in embarrassment. Later, she met a New Yorker who was idle and not afraid of death, who chased her, leading to a crowd, where she ran all the way, finally falling into Daisy's hand.
What a convoluted story!
They quickly changed the topic. Mister Fantastic's abilities were truly sinister and not suitable for discussion in any setting.
Susan then mentioned the protective suit Daisy had asked her to carry on her back before.
"Sorry about that. When we woke up, the space station had been taken away by the Von Doom Industries, and the cosmic rays were very strong at the time. I think the suit was probably destroyed..." Susan explained.
Forget about the suit; even the cosmic rays inside the clothes were absorbed by her. Daisy chuckled nonchalantly, gently brushing past the topic, and giving Susan a glimpse of her noble character.
Susan's father's mansion was not far from Daisy's home. After dropping her off, they exchanged phone numbers and made plans to have tea and go shopping together in the future.
Just as Daisy was about to enter her house, Nick Fury called her via video phone. Mr. Director's expression was grave as he looked at Daisy through the screen. "We have an urgent mission. Come back immediately."
Understanding the urgency, Daisy quickly changed into her agent uniform and teleported to Nick Fury's office.
"We need to go to the Pentagon, it's about the Blonsky incident," Fury said, already changed into his uniform and waiting for her.
Although she didn't have the title of deputy, Daisy had already been doing these tasks quite often.
Daisy could only apologize to Hill in her mind, but was always ready to move forward when needed.
Daisy followed Nick Fury onto a helicopter bound for the Pentagon.
A dedicated pilot flew the helicopter, which felt a bit sluggish to Daisy. As for why they didn't teleport, it was because Nick Fury also tailored his actions to his audience; he didn't want to trigger any sensitive nerves in the military. Taking a helicopter was the best option.
Thinking about the numerous detectors at the Pentagon, Daisy quietly shifted to her human state during the flight. At this point, her genes were purely human, belonging to the realm of normal electromagnetic waves and frequencies.
Amidst the roar of the helicopter, not even the sharp-eyed-eyed Nick Fury noticed the genetic adjustment Daisy was making on a microscopic level.
Silent throughout the journey, they landed at the Pentagon, and the two of them went inside.
Taking the elevator to the basement, when the elevator doors opened, another elevator simultaneously opened, and a group of three emerged.
Nick Fury remained calm, nodding and extending his hand to the gray-haired old man leading the trio. "Colonel Stryker, long time no see."
The other party also reached out and lightly shook hands with him. "Colonel Fury, indeed it's been a long time."
Their relationship was definitely not harmonious, but it wasn't to the point of causing any conflicts in the Department of Defense, let other watch their jokes. After a brief greeting, they walked side by side into the building.
They didn't introduce their subordinates, but Daisy looked curiously at the young man behind Colonel Stryker. He had a crew cut, deep eye sockets, and a hint of ruthlessness in his eyes. The corners of his mouth were shaped as if he was naturally born with a hint of mockery...
Daisy recognized him; he was the one who stole the experimental data from her ALS hospital last time and provocatively waved at the camera in the end.
