Chapter 43 - Follow-up Processing

===============

Nick Fury pondered in silence. Just as Daisy was thinking of leaving, the director asked again, "Will the lake's central island in Costa Rica produce particle diffusion? Are there still lingering mutated insects? Hill and the others can't step in; you're a new face. Solve the follow-up issues, and then you can go to Yale."

The director's words were unquestionable, and after some thought, Daisy accepted the task. Unlike Puerto Rico in the past, now she had the SHIELD flag behind her. Troubles were SHIELD's concern, but the connections were hers. It was an opportunity to interact with some people.

Returning to her room, Daisy found Hill sitting inside, waiting for her.

Though not as close as Nick Fury and Frank, Daisy and Hill were comrades and friends. She didn't feel awkward and poured herself a glass of water, waiting for Hill to speak.

"The scar repair from last time?" Hill hesitated, her expression a little weird.

Daisy felt similarly embarrassed. Who knows why she was so sensitive! Even in the United States, such a private topic wasn't easy to bring up.

"There are two more scars. Can you still fix them?"

"Of course."

"Can we go to my room?"

Daisy immediately agreed, following Hill into her room in the strange eyes of several students.

Hill's room was different from hers. While Daisy wasn't exactly messy, she wasn't neat either, with clothes and books scattered around. Of course, Sharon's room, and even most other female trainees' rooms, are almost like this...

Hill, on the other hand, was very tidy. Books on her shelf were neatly organized, focusing on military, history, biographies, language, etiquette, etc. that were headache-inducing according to Daisy.

"How should we..." Daisy began, but she saw Hill starting to undress, and almost bit her tongue. This scene of getting naked directly after entering the room caused her male soul a thousand points of shock.

Fortunately, she quickly came back to her mind and straightened her mentality. If you loom from the perspective of a doctor, maybe...

Hill was still wearing underwear and sitting on a chair with her back facing her.

The scar on the shoulder blade that was there last time was completely invisible, but the gunshot wound on the waist was still vivid.

Daisy was a bit at a loss, Hill's back was so sensitive last time, and now it is the waist; not to mention the nerve center, she was obviously closer to her from the distance...

Daisy didn't know if the student's room had good sound insulation or not. If they made too much noise, it could be a bloody situation.

She wanted to suggest stuffing a towel in Hill's mouth, but it wasn't like removing a bullet. It seemed unnecessary.

"I'm going to start." With Hill's nod, Daisy's fingers touched a bit of her ability and gently pressed down.

Necrotic cells were shattered directly, but vibration was a force with conductivity. Despite Daisy's efforts to contain it, some shock still transmitted...

"Ugh—" Hill felt a buzzing roar in her mind, the comfort from the deepest part of her body almost made her scream. She hurriedly covered her mouth with one hand, her face was flushed and she was forcibly enduring it...

But it doesn't feel like something you can endure through willpower alone; it doesn't depend on personal will. Hill only feels like a tight bowstring.

With the vibration of Daisy's fingers swinging in her body, the bowstring pulled closer and closer. Ten seconds, twenty seconds, one minute, and finally, it broke completely at a certain critical point.

Her muscles contracted violently, her consciousness went blank, and it took a long time before she recovered.

Looking at Daisy who had an innocent face and erratic eyes, she was so ashamed that she wanted to bite!

As an elite agent, she knows exactly what happened just now

In fact, there is still a scar on her thigh, but Hill was really scared. Now she just wanted to blast Daisy out immediately, take a shower, and change clothes instead of continuing treatment.

Maybe some slutty women; sorry the politically correct word would be 'open' women; these days don't care about these private matters, and even brag to each other about this, but she is not so bold

Seeing her embarrassment, Daisy understood instantly, avoiding eye contact. "The director assigned me some tasks; let's continue treatment next time."

"Sure, thank you." Although she said thanks, Hill didn't get up from the chair until Daisy left the room.

'Was the vibration frequency too high?' Daisy was puzzled as she walked out of the room, looking at her fingers, she once again swore that she really was there for the treatment, there were no strange thoughts. Thought for a long time, that there were no results, maybe next time when returning to New York, can you experiment on the maid?

Daisy needed to handle the follow-up matters in Costa Rica, so she went to the data room to review the previous agents' handling methods.

Roughly browsing through it, what about covering up with gas leaks and industrial pollution causing genetic mutations; the simplest method is to push it to terrorists.

The World Trade Center was bombed by terrorists, and the North Sea Kindergarten was their doing too. All the bad things can be blamed on terrorists, and they won't come out to refute it anyway.

She could follow suit, but she wouldn't gain much from it herself. It was a rare opportunity to take advantage of pulling in benefits. If she doesn't share some of the benefits from it, she is really ashamed of Nick Fury's expectations of digging SHIELD's corner.

Daisy had a general idea in mind, but to execute it, she needed some preliminary work.

She first found Leo Fitz, the guy who helped modify her pistol. Although not on Tony Stark's level, he was a genius within SHIELD, with few shortcomings..

"Go to Costa Rica?" Fitz looked at Daisy inexplicably, not understanding why she would take him to such a faraway place.

Daisy explained the task she had just completed and ended with, "The director is afraid there might be particle residue there, damaging the local ecosystem, so..."

"So the director thought of me?" Fitz was extremely excited, his face turning red, curls exuding joy.

Daisy chuckled awkwardly. The director knows which green onion you are; it's me who thought of you, okay?!

She laughed like the Mona Lisa, neither confirming nor denying, "Isn't your girlfriend Jemma Simmons a biochemistry expert? Bring her along and we'll leave immediately."

Fitz hurriedly denied, "No, she's not my girlfriend..."

Seeing his mouth saying no while his heart was clearly delighted, Daisy was speechless and had him call Simmons.

Simmons now looked a bit immature, with shoulder-length flaxen hair. When she was called, she was carrying two thick books that could kill someone—genuinely resembling a nerd.

However, she seemed more composed than Fitz, speaking logically in front of popular students like Daisy.

Time was tight, and the mission was crucial. Daisy vaguely mentioned it was the director's order, and she immediately took the two on a Quinjet.
