In the vast expanse of the lonely sky, two figures descended with incredible speed. One of them was the unconscious Emory and the other was the headless and mangled body of the angel who once called himself a God.
As the two fell helplessly, they got closer to the earth falling through and past each layer of the atmosphere.
Gabriel and Michael, who fell behind after Zalos' attack, were flying toward the direction that Zalos took Emory. The pair met with Emory and Zalos' body
"Were we too late?" Gabriel asked as he saw the incoming bodies
"Look closer" Michael suggested to Gabriel
Gabriel focused his sights on Emory and Zalos, and he was able to see that Zalos was without a head and Emory was only covered in burns and cuts.
