Emory woke up to the sound of his alarm, he put the alarm off and laid on his bed motionless, staring at the ceiling. A few days passed since the day Emory and the archangels were supposed to confront Zalos according to Emory's dream, and yet Emory still couldn't shake off the feeling that something was amiss with the way the event of his dream unfolded. Emory felt this way not because he had another dream or because he had an encounter with an evil being, nothing of the sort.
In fact, the past few days had been peaceful, with nothing significant happening. No random encounter with the fallen, if his path did cross with the fallen, it was because he wanted them to appear to be target practice for his training. Even Athena did not bother him too much, the only time she talked to him was to remind him of the favor he owed her. Training with Michael and Gabriel was going fairly well too, but his progress with "Divine Severance" was still stagnant
