With the dagger still hanging on its neck, the skeleton made its way towards the sleeping Bittu.
Step.
*hiss*
As the skeleton moved, at the same time, a burning smell gradually spread in the air with hissing sounds echoing from its body. .
Step.
Step.
With its skeletal legs moving at a constant speed, the skeleton arrived before Bittu. It then raised its right hand that held the sword and was about to plunge the sword aimed right at his unmoving head.
*hiss*
*slam*
*bam*
However, before the sword could fall, the skull of the skeleton along with the dagger fell to the ground with steam coming out of them both.
Unknown to him, his life was saved by his weapon at the most critical moment as the only enchantment; Light, that the weapon held activated when in contact with the aura of death of the skeleton for a few seconds.
The enchantment seared through the deathly aura, enveloping the skeleton, treating it as a sworn adversary. Initially, the dagger paid the skeleton no heed, unleashing its ferocious assault solely against its intended target; the deadly aura, fulfilling the purpose it was actually made for, but as the one from whom the aura originated from, how could it be safe from the attack? The skeleton found itself a hapless casualty in the fray.
*sizzle*
The skeleton's skull landed right on Bittu's naked body and the atlas of the skull that came in contact with Bittu's body was also burning, burnt some of Bittu's skin before returning to normal. The stinging, burning sensation would have woken up any normal man, but not him. He was deep in sleep, but something mysterious was happening in his sleep as notifications flashed before him.

Suddenly, out of thin air, a golden glow appeared and entered the wooden box that had appeared before, after killing the skeleton.
It glowed for a while, then returned to its original lifeless state.
At the same time, a transparent drop of dew appeared right above his bloodied body, suspended midair, defying gravity.
The dew appeared as a shimmering, iridescent liquid with a transparent interior. Its surface rippled with mesmerizing patterns that seem to shift and morph, casting illusions upon anything that dared to gaze at it. When held, it would feel weightless yet carry a subtle energy that tingles with the promise of enchantment.
The moment the dew appeared, a strange transparent fog started to form around the place. The fog slowly but surely increased in volume as they covered Bittu's entire body.
Only then did the dew let gravity affect it as it slowly fell and landed right in the center of his body.
[Initiating the test for the elemental affinity, illusion.]

*silence*
In this absolute silence, a voice echoed, "Where am i?". It echoed softly, bouncing off unseen walls that seemed to stretch into infinity.
Wherever the voice looked, all it saw was darkness.
The darkness, impenetrable and vast, offered no answers, only a sense of solitude that weighed heavily on the voice's consciousness. With each glance in every direction, there was nothing but the endless expanse of nothingness and endless darkness!
With nothing else in view.
Time lost its meaning in this void, stretching and compressing like an elastic band pulled taut and then released. Moments felt like eternities, and yet, in the grand scheme of existence, they passed in the blink of an eye. The voice, adrift in the sea of darkness, wandered aimlessly, driven by an insatiable curiosity to uncover the mysteries of its surroundings.
As time passed, the owner of the voice grew bored and dull as he couldn't find anything to do other than wander around. After some time, it just laid in one place, looking at what seemed like the top of the place it was at with its dull eyes.
Then, like a beacon cutting through the obsidian veil, a glimmer of light appeared in the distance. It was faint at first, barely a flicker on the horizon, but it drew the voice like a moth to a flame. With a renewed sense of purpose, the voice pressed forward, its footsteps echoing in the empty void.
As the light grew closer, its brilliance intensified, casting aside the suffocating darkness and illuminating the path ahead. The voice quickened its pace, eager to reach the source of this newfound illumination. With each step, the anticipation grew, until finally, the light enveloped the voice in its warm embrace, revealing a world beyond the confines of the void.
Its vision, that had seen nothing but black, turned into a blur of bright red as sounds assaulted its ears. When it tried to say something, the only sound that came out seemed to be a cry.
The muffled voices became clearer. "Congratulations Sir and Madam, he's a healthy boy."
But the first thought that stuck him was, 'Who am I?'
While he slowly and painfully opened his eyes, his retinas were bombarded with different colors and figures. It took a bit of time for his infant eyes to get used to the light.
But his focus was not on his surrounding, but on the different sights that assaulted his mind right after his first thought.
In the vision that he was having, all he felt looking at the sight was pain and agony. All he heard was screams of a man and the haunting laugh of a skeleton.
Before he could understand what the vision was about. Another vision assaulted him.
In the vision, he was in a dark room with nothing but skeletons in his sight. All he felt looking at the sight was contempt and indifference.
Once again, the sight changed. Now, before him, was a sea of zombies. Zombies that would scare even an adult just from their savage looks. Looking at the vision, all he felt was anger and hate.
*slap*
Once again, the vision changed, however before the vision could even form, the doctor that did the surgery slapped his butt.
"WaaaaaA... WaaaAaaaaaaaa"
Bittu let out a sharp baby cry that immediately brought a smile upon all six people in the room, two his parents, one doctor and three nurses.
"Honey, look how cute and chubby our baby is.", said Bittu's mother as she looked loving at her precious child, "and he looks just like you.", she further added, blissful.
After giving birth, the woman looked tired, sweaty, and flushed. Her hair was messy, and her face showed signs of strain or relief, but it did nothing to hide the beauty she was. Adding with her gentle eyes with long eyelashes and her perky nose, she gave off this motherly glow at the moment.
" Yes, honey.", replied the man the woman called honey. The man had an idiotic grin and teary eyes as he gazed at his third child, and probably the last one they would have.
Strangely, both the mother and father duo had the exact same face as Bittu's actual parents.
