"Are you even listening to me?" Sam asked.
In all truth, I wasn't but I just nodded and continued to stare off into the distance.
"Do they do this in the human world?" I wondered out loud
Sam just shrugged "It doesn't matter. You can't go out there in case you're spotted. Now red or blue?"
"Blue," I said
"Good choice. The prince's favorite."
"Nevermind. I want red."
"Are you sure about that?"
I nodded and a red dress appeared on me. It matched perfectly with my long blonde hair and shimmering blue eyes. It was stunning, a bit too stunning.
"Tone it down a bit please," I said.
They sighed but did as I asked. I was now wearing a very simple bright red dress. I'd rather wear my favorite T-shirt from some human band Nirvana Sam gave me, but I had to look nice for the prince. He was choosing his princess today and every princess was required to attend. Everyone else in the whole fantasy world is so excited. Even the people in the human world would be eager. I'd much rather be there than here but I'm stuck. Hopefully, the prince will love everyone else's dresses so much that he won't even notice me. Hopefully.
"Come on your majesty. We need to get going." Sam said interrupting my thought
"I already told you, you don't need to call me that when we're alone."
"Come Rose," Sam was already halfway out the door
"Fine"
I followed them out the door and to my royal carriage. I could walk. The prince's castle is only like 5 miles from mine but everything has to be the best for Prince Jackson. So I boarded the carriage and sat for the very short ride.
"Where to your majesty?" asked the carriage driver
"Prince Jackson's castle," I said grimly
We started and almost immediately stopped again
"We have arrived."
"I can tell."
I got out of the carriage and glanced back. I could still see my castle not too far away. I checked the time on the clock on the castle in front of me. Good, I was early but not too early. Almost everyone else was probably already here.
