"I heard!" they said "You're marrying the prince!"
"No. I'm not"
"What do you mean? That's what her majesty said."
"Yeah well her majesty was wrong. I refuse. She can't make me!"
"Yes she can and she will. The wedding is in one week. We need to get it planned."
"Please, Sam. Don't let her. I don't want this. You know that. Do it as my maid, as my friend. Let me go to the human world. Just until after the wedding date. They won't find me there."
Sam shook their head "I can't, sorry."
They then started to try out various dresses and makeup looks until they finally settled on one. It was a beautiful, flowy, pale blue dress with the puffiest sleeves I'd ever seen. I remembered the girl from my dream. She had been wearing something similar to this only in pink, a color very rarely found here. I think she was human as she seemed shorter than most elves and didn't have pointy ears. I decided I would run away to the human world tonight. I would make Sam go with me so they couldn't tell on me. Then I would run. Fast and far I would go until I got past the dragon that shielded the fantasy world. Once I was through I would find the girl. That should be easy. She was a princess based on her clothes. I would stop at every castle I could find until I found hers. I would never stop.
