Avians was pushed in because a servant accidentally nudged her, the door flew open and everyone in the room turned to her.
"You--!!!" pointed a middle-aged woman with an annoyed look at Avians.
She walked over, but was blocked by the butler, Jonnah.
"Get out of my way! I want to talk to the lowly, cheap woman who dared to seduce my son into marrying him! Hey bitch, what did you do to my son that he would marry you, huh?!" snapped the woman who turned out to be Adrian's mother, Sarah Foster.
"I-I..." Avians looked terrified as Sarah continued to yell at her.
"Madam... Madam, restrain yourself, don't yell like that!" said Jonnah trying to restrain Sarah.
However, Sarah pushed Jonnah away and pulled Avians' long hair.
"You lowly woman! You're nothing, but you dare to seducing my son! What do you have, huh? You're not even attractive at all. Are you fucking my son and threatening to spread this if he doesn't marry you?!"
"Ouch ouch... It hurts, it hurts... Please let me go. Let go of me..." pleaded Avians as she begged Sarah.
"You don't deserve to marry into a rich family like ours! Do you intend to take our money and enjoy it?! You poor woman!"
Sarah continued to yell and cuss at Avians as she continued to pull the woman's hair. Avians continued to plead in fear, she didn't know what to do. She felt like it was happening to her all over again, when someone pulled her hair like that.
Seeing this, Jonnah was forced to punch Sarah's hand to get her to release her grip on Avians' hair even though she knew Sarah would be furious about it.
"What the hell are you! How dare you do that to me?"
"I'm sorry, ma'am. But this is Mr. Adrian's residence, you can't do whatever you want here, let alone hurt Mr. Adrian's future wife. I am responsible for looking after the house while Mr. Adrian is at work," Jonnah said.
Jonnah asked a servant to take the Avians back to her room. Despite Sarah's attempts to call out to her and chase her, Jonnah kept the woman from approaching Avians again.
"Take Miss Avians to her room!"
"Yes, Mr. Jonnah. Come Miss Avians." The servant led the Avians away from the place in a state of fear.

Later that evening, Adrian returns home from work. He is greeted by Jonnah who tells him that Sarah came in this afternoon and made a scene there. Adrian asked about Avians, and Jonnah told him what happened between Avians and Sarah.
"Since this afternoon Miss Avians has refused to leave her room. She hasn't eaten anything until now. I have tried to persuade her, but she still refuses," Jonnah explained.
Adrian, who heard this, immediately went to Avians' room. He knocked on her door.
"Avi? It's me. Are you okay?" Adrian asked.
There was no answer from inside. Worried, Adrian opened the door to Avians' room and walked in. Inside he saw Avians sitting in the corner of the room hugging her legs. She looked very scared, sitting all alone.
'What mom did must have made her remember that incident...' the man thought.
Adrian walked over to Avians and knelt down near her and touched her head gently. "Avi..." he called.
The dark-haired woman raised her head slightly looking at Adrian with tears in her eyes.
"Ian..." called Avians softly.
"I'm sorry all this had to happen to you. I'll make sure it never happens again. Don't cry."
With both hands Adrian wiped away his future wife's tears and pulled her into his arms. Avians hugged Adrian tightly with trembling hands. Seeing his situation, Adrian felt guilty, but also very angry at his mother who always interfered in his life. Even to the point of making his future wife like this.
The man picked Avians up and laid her on the bed. He pulled the blanket over Avians' body.
"You must be hungry, I'll have the servant bring you dinner," Adrian said and left.
However, as Adrian was about to leave, Avians held the man's hand as if asking him to stay. Understanding Avians' gaze, Adrian sat on the woman's bedside and let her sleep.
Avians' eyes closed as he gently rubbed her head. For the first time, Avians felt so calm because someone cared about her.
Adrian's fingers gently brushed Avians' hair that covered her face.
"I'm sorry. I'll make sure this never happens to you again. I promise," he murmured as he watched Avians' face fall asleep.
That night, Adrian told Elena about the incident over the phone. Elena who heard this had already guessed that it would happen, because she knew their mother always wanted everything to go according to her wishes, even to their children's marriage, she always wanted them to marry someone of her choice.
But all this time, their mother never cared about them. She was always busy with the wealth she got from her husband, hanging out with her friends and buying expensive things. However, after her husband's death, she acted as if she really cared about her children and wanted them under her control.
Of course neither Adrian nor Elena liked it, but there was nothing they could do about it.
"It's hard to make mom not do whatever she wants. But what can we do anyway," Elena said, trying to calm her brother down.
"I'm afraid she'll do worse things to Avi later. If that happens, Avi might change her mind and run away from here."
"I understand. I'll try to talk to mom tomorrow. You calm down, okay?"
Adrian sighed and said yes to his sister. He hung up the phone because it was getting late. Elena must also want to rest after working all day.
Feeling tired, Adrian walked to the bathroom and turned on the bathtub faucet until the bathtub was filled. Without taking off his clothes, he submerged himself into the bathtub and closed his eyes.
Releasing the fatigue and stress that filled his head. Sometimes he wondered why he had to be born into a family like this. He had to hold great responsibility for his company.
All he wanted was an ordinary life that he could spend with someone he loved. Having a small family and enjoying time together.
"It sounds like a fairy tale that could never happen."
