Alabaster felt like all the air in his lungs just left his body. He collapsed on his carpet, gasping for air. The tears and saliva drop to the ground as he desperately tries to breathe. He is weak, defenseless and he doesn't know what to do but watch as a figure sat on his chair and watched him squirm. She is holding on to something, but his vision is getting blurry. He's gonna pass out.
"I am disappointed in you, Alabaster." She said calmly, "I had thought highly of you and after sharing my pain with you, you went behind my back to make these!" She growled and tossed it at him.
After that, fresh air!!
Alabaster coughed and hacked as he can finally breathe again. She remained silent and patient. Amaryllis is truly angry this time.
After what happened at the Academy, he returned to his hotel room when he suddenly saw her. That was when this all happened.
The item she tossed at him was an assault rifle. It was the item that nearly killed her in her original life. Despite her obvious disdain and disgust for the weapon, he found it fascinating. Despite knowing it might cost his life; he recreated it and replicate it to use among the mercenaries he marked with peonies.
"I destroyed them..." Amy says dangerously. "except this one." she finished.
"These weapons are useful to our cause; Amaryllis and you know it." he explained.
"Have you killed anyone with these yet?" she asked.
"No," he answered. "I knew you would kill me if I did. All the ammunition are non-lethal."
She held onto a single bullet. Soft and non-metallic. It won't kill anyone unless they were hit in the eye or swallowed. They are only used to stun, not kill.
"You understand why I hate these. I looked into your mind to see what else you could've hidden from me." She leaned into Alabaster. "You're a real fucking bastard, aren't you? You hid such crucial information from me. If you pull this stunt again, then I'll erase your memories and break our connection."
Alabaster felt his heart drop. The connection is what keeps him alive and sane. If he loses it, then it's basically death. The worm can kill him but if she lets him live then he will have to go through the torture of the disease again. What's worse is that without his memories then he'll just be a madman. He'll lose everything.
Not to mention, he is fiercely loyal to Amaryllis. The worm may compel him to, but he doesn't care. Anything is better than the hell he had to go through.
"We cannot have these introduced to the world. Weapons in this world are already violent. Imagine if you introduced modern firearms, artillery and tactics here." Her expression is pleading.
He knew her fears. The more dangerous the weapon, the more dangerous the conflicts and she had been the victim of one. It is justified but he cannot help but argue the benefits of having them.
"What about the civilians? You know the war is coming but they won't be able to defend themselves against magic."
"Are you saying that you plan to give these out to civilians?!" Amy asked furiously.
"No, just us! So that we can defend ourselves." he explained, "Take me for example, I cannot use magic anymore. If I go against a mage then with a firearm, I will have a chance of survival."
"And if these end up in the wrong hands then they will recreate it and turn it against us! Then what?!" Amy roared, "I can't let that happen, Alabaster." She then outstretches her hand, and he knows what she is doing. "If you dare introduce these weapons into this world, fictional or not then I will not hesitate to kill you. You are not dispensable, and I don't want to do this, but I will if I have to."
Then the rifle disappeared without a trace. Unlike Violet's purification ability, hers doesn't emit anything. No one wouldn't guess she is using the same ability just by looking.
"I let you create drones and let you recreate the technology from my original life, but I refuse to bring firearms or weapons of mass destruction into the world. That is the line for me, Alabaster." she explained and got up from the chair with a thoughtful look. "But I admit that you have a point which is why I will say this." she looked out the window.
"From now on, I will warn you. If you use another firearm, you must have them all accounted for, and it must be kept secret. They must not be seen. They must have a bit of my circles on them so that if anyone other than those with peonies were to get a hold on them, they will disintegrate. The worm I placed in you gave us a connection and it responds to my needs. If you screw this up, then it will kill you just because I willed it."
Alabaster burst out in shock, "But!"
"This is my final warning. You can try to find an alternative, but I do not want these things to kill unnecessarily. The moment that happens then you die. I will not give you any more chances."
Alabaster looks nervous, "Yes,"

Amy headed back to her bed where everyone else is asleep. The dogs return to their homeland but reappears by her side if she desires to. According to an animal whisperer on Teluka, these cute guys are already named; Eira, Meddal, Luna, Haul and Tan by their previous owners.
After what happened, it left her thinking of what is happening. She would not be able to visit Selim for a while as he will be kept in high surveillance. From what she could see through Ramiro, he seems off and she can guess why. Whatever the case, he will be severely punished; most likely given the death penalty.
