Amy froze in disbelief as she stared at the poster with a crude self portrait of himself as club president and Rufus as his vice-president noticing the golden salamander wax seal on it. Ever since she and Viola received letters from Leon, that seal was always on the letters. This is the official seal of Solin's Crown Prince making it official and authentic.
The number of signatures to attend are numerous. In fact, almost everyone wishes to attend that the school decides to put a limit of thirty people. In fine print, there is both a list for an interview and a 'physical test'. The interview is obviously to test what new recruits could bring in the club.
The second one is his own personal touch. He just wants to duel everyone. The reason? Boredom? Or is he just Trigger Happy?
Regardless of the reason, to put his personal seal... it's ridiculous and reckless to put it on a school club recruitment poster. He will get in trouble if someone decides to replicate it.
After a long exhale, she heads to the training ground, filled to the brim with people. She had to fly up using wind magic to get a glimpse and saw that Leon is destroying everyone. In addition, Leon is quick to stop others and immediately fail them even before they try to attack. She approached Theseus with much on her mind on the situation.
"How many did-"
"So far, only two were accepted. Your friend Selim is one of them."
She looked to see Selim rubbing a bandaged arm and has a purple bruise on his face. She cringed at the sight. He is not going easy on anyone.
"Who's the other?"
"Vanessa Aquila," he replied, "Margaret Lune, Brian Nox, Stephen Ino and Eric Chase are the only nobles that passed the interview."
The number of nobles make a small portion of the student body especially Solin nobles. In their year alone, other than her and those she knew before her enrollment, the five that Theseus mentioned are the only other Team Sun in their year and they are trained well.
"Oi!" Leon yelled in her direction, "Ryllis!! Fight me!!"
Amy looked around and could hear criticism of Leon's skills from the audience, that he is using Illusions to change the fight in his favor. Officially, his power is illusions but in reality, no one knows that everything he does is pure skill and why he chose to keep it as a secret. As strong as he is, he is surprisingly cautious.
Amy flew to the center stage and grabbed one of the wooden staffs at a weapon stand.
Leon smirked and stared at the crowd. "So far, I fought almost all of you with my bare hands. Now, I am gonna use a weapon." He then grabbed another wooden staff. The excitement on his face is evident. She admits that she is curious to see how much stronger she got so this is a good opportunity to test it out.
After getting in position, both attacked almost immediately. The sudden burst of speed let out a burst of air which blew everyone away. The blows then got faster that no one could see with the naked eye.
"Oh my gods, this is amazing!" One bystander said.
"I could barely keep up what's going on anymore."
Viola stared fixedly at the fight. After being sick for so long, she could see that these past few months of training did her well.
Amy barely managed to land a few pokes on his torso and shoulder though he seemed unfazed by it. Leon has gotten faster and starts hitting harder. While Amy is more skilled with the staff and in defense, his speed is hard to keep up with. Both were enjoying themselves though. There is no denying that. He was about to deliver a high kick, but she blocked it with the staff. Both then stopped midway after hearing the approaching footsteps of a professor.
"Students, Curfew is approaching so please return to your dormitories at once." She said in a shrill voice.
After a collective groan, everyone dispersed. Even Amy is disappointed. The fight is getting really good. She turned to everyone who are surprised to see her. Viola hugged her with an extremely proud look on her face.
"That was amazing! You caught up with Leon."
Amy chuckled as she rolled her sleeve to show a large purple bruise. "I have much to learn, I'm afraid."
Leon is a hard hitter even though he didn't attack her directly with the weapon. His aura is more than enough to hurt in a friendly competition. She had to shield that with her left arm.
Leon then looked at her with an approving look. Even though she looked down on him sometimes, he is still an extremely powerful being.
Even in the past, she has shown skill in using weapons than Rufus and Leon however, they are much stronger than her if she were to face them head-on without them.

Melissa started healing her arm in the lounge with the other noble kids while Leon and Rufus are discussing on who to recruit.
"Hey, Melli! Can you heal my shoulder? It's starting to hurt." Leon says and pulls up his shirt to show the bruises.
"Later, I'm not done yet. Her bruise is a darker color than yours." she replied with the same relaxing voice she always says in.
"Thanks, I think I'm good here." Amy said and the bruise is pretty much completely faded.
Melissa nodded and began healing Leon.
"By the way, you have improved a lot during your absence. Have you secretly trained instead of being sick? You've gotten more graceful since the last time I saw you." Rufus asked in his usual soft-toned voice.
Amy shook her head solemnly. "I started training around the stage of recovery. I was never able to before."
"You missed quite a lot. The pranks that Leon and Rufus pulled on those first years and how they all quit. The dorm was filled to the brim with them." Sabina complained, "Your old room was also occupied by someone else."
Amy understandably nodded. Viola mentioned her room was taken by a first-year girl. It has particularly peeved Leon and Rufus as this room was one of the first ones to be pranked and rigged with something. The mess was unbelievable. The tenant quickly moved out as a result and left the school, scarred for life. By the time Amy returned back to the academy, the entire room was refurbished and thoroughly cleaned.
"Did you know who to recruit?"
"Well, we got around ten people and most of them are in our year." Rufus says in a slightly happy tone. Amy remembers from Viola's letter that he doesn't like his underclassmen, "That makes a total of eighteen people."
"Hey, Ryllis! Next time, fight me with those blue weapons of yours! Uninterrupted!" Leon yells.
Amy answered him by shooting a disapproving look.
