"They killed my brother, Ms. Isleen. Don't ask me why I want to know like you don't already know why."
I didn't know what to say to Liam after that.
"We will, Liam. I told you before, my Dad's handling it, so it's going to be fine." Kylo drew Liam closer and said to him.
I knew Kylo had intentionally done that to show me that I was overreacting. I knew I was still paranoid from I and Kylo's argument but I didn't think that was the case here. To me, Liam had no business asking such questions that promote bitterness in his heart regardless of whatever the reason was.
However, this time, I could do nothing but follow behind them and watch them converse. Kylo was upset. I was too.
"You trust in your Daddy so much, Kylo," Liam commented, looking up at Kylo.
I watched Kylo nod. "I do. He's the perfect person to keep us safe."
