The next morning, I woke up all thanks to the alarm. I had reset it last night as I and Liam needed to be at the school early.
It wouldn't be nice for a teacher and her new son to arrive late to school. I knew I'd have lots of questions to answer considering Liam. I didn't have too many friends among the other teachers as I was usually belittled and judged.
Belittled for being an omega and judged for dating Kylo. Just like everywhere else.
I found Liam already bouncing on the balls of his feet, excitement radiating from him.
"Good morning, Ms. Isleen!" he chirped. "I can't wait to go to school!"
It was rather rare to find a kid this excited to go to school. It seemed that I had made the right choice of a son.
I smiled, surprised by his enthusiasm. "That's wonderful, Liam. Did you have a good night's sleep?"
"The best!" He beamed. "And I already took a bath!"
