Xiao Wu received a ten-thousand-year-old crystal ginseng from Tang San, but Huo Wu didn't feel jealous. After all, she had already received the best gift: the plant soul beast Crystal Lotus, which granted her sixth soul ring.

The abundant energy contained within still resides in her body. In the future, for her seventh, eighth, and ninth soul rings, she won't need to hunt soul beasts to acquire them.

"Alright, you two, enough with the lovey-dovey act." Huo Wu pushed them out of the bathroom door and into the living room, where Guang Ling and Ning Rongrong had already prepared the meal.

Although they had servants, the girls felt that cooking themselves created a homier atmosphere.

However, Gu Yuena was only responsible for eating.

"The big pervert is coming down," Ning Rongrong giggled as she walked over to Huo Wu and glared at Tang San. "Hmph, bullying Huo Wu all day. It looks like I'll have to teach you a lesson tonight to vent some anger for little sister Huo Wu."

"You just want to eat my share, don't you?" Huo Wu laughed, protectively covering Tang San. "Besides, I'm older than you. Except for Xiao Wu, I'm the eldest here."

"Yeah, right," Ning Rongrong retorted disdainfully. "We rank by seniority here, so you're after me. Plus, you must be exhausted today. Don't overexert yourself tonight; let me bear that burden for you."

Gu Yuena feigned innocence and asked, "Sister Rongrong, what are you talking about? I don't understand a word."

"That's because you're a child and don't understand. You'll get it when you grow up."

Even though only Tang San and Xiao Wu knew Gu Yuena's true identity, they didn't tell anyone else.

But who was Ning Rongrong?

A little witch! She wouldn't care about Gu Yuena's age.

Moreover, Ning Rongrong had seen Gu Yuena's "mature demeanor" over the years, witnessed her haggling in and out of Spirit City. She was certain that this silver-haired girl, if split open, would be pitch black inside.

Believing in her innocence would surely lead to being deceived!

"Oh, I see. I'll wait until I grow up to understand," Gu Yuena nodded vigorously, continuing her act while thinking:

It seems Ning Rongrong is the real opponent here!

She shares the same temperament as me, making her much harder to deal with than straightforward Xiao Wu, Guang Ling, or Huo Wu!

But these mere humans are far from my match. In time, I'll see to it that this human girl is suppressed and cast aside!

Seeing Gu Yuena's naive look, Ning Rongrong felt a bit embarrassed but didn't pursue the topic further, as it was "inappropriate for children."

As everyone sat at the table to eat, Guang Ling said, "San Ge, my soul power has reached level fifty-nine. I estimate that in half a year, I can break through to level sixty and become a Soul Emperor."

"Have you decided on the type of soul beast for your sixth soul ring?" Tang San asked.

"Of course, I have." Guang Ling already possessed five attributes: gold, light, thunder, ice, and fire. The last, fire, came from her fifth soul ring, a sixty-thousand-year-old Blazing Fire Turtle, adding a crimson flame pattern to Guang Ling's Sun Chasing Bow, allowing it to absorb fire elements and evolve.

"The fundamental purpose of my soul rings is to evolve my martial soul, and secondarily, to master various elements to aid my soul tool research. Soul skills have become the least important."

For Guang Ling, cultivating her martial soul was about mastering elements and integrating them through soul tool patterns to create various functional arrows. Soul skills had become the least significant aspect.

"The sixth element, I plan to choose wind."

"Wind, in a practical sense, is just the movement of air. However, as an elemental power, it differs. Through my research on soul tool fans, I discovered that wind energy has cutting properties and significant inclusivity. It can combine with fire, ice, and lightning elements to create greater power, aiding me in better integrating and controlling my attributes."

"And the soul beast for this is the Wind Roar Beast."

The Wind Roar Beast is a powerful soul beast living in the Storm Canyon. According to the Wuhun Hall's documentation, "The Storm Canyon Soul Beast Record," it resembles a mammoth, covered in gray-brown armor that is incredibly tough. It moves slowly and remains in one place for long periods, with limbs like roots anchored firmly to the ground. When it inhales, it frightens all beasts; when it exhales, clouds disperse.

From this description, Tang San could ascertain that this soul beast possesses strong wind attributes. Some soul masters who have ventured into the inner part of the Storm Canyon claimed that the storms there are caused by a hundred-thousand-year-old Wind Roar Beast. Combined with the terrain of the canyon, even a Super Douluo would struggle to contend with it.

However, regarding the description, "limbs like roots anchored to the ground, immovable," Tang San believed that this soul beast might not only have wind attributes but possibly earth attributes as well.

The Wind Roar Beast is not a plant soul beast, so it can't literally root itself into the ground like a plant. This must be a metaphor. Even if its claws were long, they couldn't dig that deeply.

Moreover, it can blow fierce winds from its nostrils and create storms with the help of the canyon's terrain. If its claws were just gripping the ground, it would be blown away by the storm's backdraft.

Yet, it is described as "anchored to the ground, immovable."

Even if it doesn't have earth attributes, it must have some control over gravity. Otherwise, even with its massive weight, it couldn't remain unshaken in such a storm.

The interaction of forces exists in this world as well.

"Earth attributes?" Guang Ling mused. "If the Wind Roar Beast truly has earth attributes, that would be even better. It means I can choose an additional attribute later."

"We're not certain yet. My analysis is based on the records, but I haven't seen the Wind Roar Beast myself. This soul beast has another nickname: 'Wind Drinker, Earth Eater,'" Tang San said thoughtfully, rubbing his chin. "No soul beast has ever been seen hunting other soul beasts or eating plants."

This doesn't definitively prove the Wind Roar Beast has earth attributes, but it does provide some indirect evidence.

"That's really pitiful," Ning Rongrong teased. "Drinking the northwest wind and eating dirt—it must be quite the oddity among soul beasts."

Xiao Wu didn't comment, as she wasn't familiar with this beast from the Star Dou Forest.

Tang San shook his head, "If it truly survives on wind and earth without relying on other food, then it is indeed a unique type of soul beast."

The reasoning is simple. If the rumors about the Wind Roar Beast are true, it means it can draw life-sustaining and cultivation energy directly from wind and earth.

At the very least, once Guang Ling acquires this soul ring, her Sun Chasing Bow will gain an ability like the previous five attributes. It will allow the martial soul to absorb corresponding elemental energy during soul skill use, facilitating the martial soul's evolution as a passive ability.

This is crucial for Guang Ling.
