Jäwell was sitting with Sarin for a couple of hours more in silence after he had dropped his smile. Everyone else in the tavern eventually went to sleep, Sarin was obviously very tired but stayed to keep Jäwell company anyway. Jäwell didn't even finish his first beer, he was not drinking as much as he was doing it in Ombrae. Alcohol had a much stronger effect on his constitution, but more than that, he didn't want to die this way.
The fragile life he had now was precious, and he intended to do the best of it. Sarin drank his beer and looked at Jäwell, he decided himself to finally speak, "We must rest. Humans rest."
Jäwell chuckled at the commentary he had made, this authoritative sound in his best interest was not without remembering him of Zuline. He pushed the beer to the side.
"What makes you laugh?" Sarin asked, genuinely curious.
"You make me think of someone," Jäwell answered, realizing he had a broken voice from the long silence.
