The couple exchanged looks and it was the same thought which was running through their minds, 'was their beloved son about to get married?'
"If he does get married, I will be the happiest mother alive," Becky commented with a sigh.
Her son was not getting younger, instead he was getting older and he needed to settle down in order to allow the board of directors see that he was a responsible person.
"What about our other son?" Funnily enough, Lucas talked about the other son whom they had abandoned.
"He also got married but we weren't even there for his marriage,' Lucas said with a loud sigh. He would be lying if he said he didn't think about his first son time-to-time.
"Lucas, why did you think of him today?" Becky asked. This was the first time he talked about him since Cole left the home.
It was as though Lucas never cared about his son as he wasn't bothered when Cole had left.
