"I hope I'm not disturbing something here," they suddenly heard a voice and their heads snapped to the direction it came from, the entrance.
"Aunt Ellen," Cole stood from the sofa and so did Kaia.
"It's been a while, how have you been?" Ellen walked in with a smile. She took a seat on the single chair and motioned for the couple to do the same.
"Relax, I brought them with me, I only need to discuss with Kaia for a while before we get down into business," Ellen remarked with a smile when she noticed Cole who was causally glancing at the entrance as though he was expecting a package.
Caught by his aunt, he let out a cough in order to mask his embarrassment.
"Do you know me?" Kaia asked the middle-aged lady whom Cole refered to as his aunt.
"Yes I do, my name is Ellen Stewarts, you might not recall me though, our meeting was a brief one," Ellen replied and Kaia nodded.
