A middle-aged woman with white skin and orange hair was sitting alone in a highly decorated chamber with a masked woman in black attire by her side. Right now she was sipping tea elegantly while listening to the masked woman.
" So, you are saying my 'husband' has gotten some interest in him?"
She asked while tidying her orange dress which was somewhat revealing and giving her a look which could make any man horny. Her orange eyeballs had some cold aura shooting outside, which matched well with her demeanour as an empress.
The way she pronounced the word 'husband' clearly showed disgust and hate. Even a baby could tell she hated her so-called husband to the death.
" Yes, your grace! He had already made him the crown prince of the emperor. It was very much suspicious of him to do something like this. You know, your majesty, he is a man who killed his own father just for power. I can't believe he just assigned someone to be his successor all of a sudden!"
" It's because he is sure that he won't lose his life forever! I guess he had already entered the realm of Divinity by now."
" Huh? But how? It's impossible in this world right?"
" Impossible for the ignorant. I assume he got help from his 'strange' friends."
" It can't be right? He needs to sacrifice something big to get that! Of all the people out there I have never seen anyone who is so stingy. I don't think he is capable of doing something like that!" The woman in the mask exclaimed.
" I don't know! It's just an assumption of mine. Even, I'm not sure about that! For now, just keep an eye on him. We shouldn't make a move unless he himself does so."
The woman in the mask waited for her to continue but quickly found out she was never going to continue.
" Is something bothering you, your majesty?"
" No, it's just I feel wary about him."
" You mean, Karl or the emperor?"
" Wongoner is always wary. It's the other one, Karl."
" Huh? Are you worrying about him?"
" Me? Worrying about a man? You are saying I'm worrying about a fucking man?"
" Then your majesty, what makes you feel uneasy about him?"
A long minute of silence prevailed.
" I don't know! It's just his behaviour has become so much different after his disappearance. He was a very shy guy. I'm sure he never even thought of acting lovey-dovey in public! Something strange had happened to him! Now don't ask me what that is! 'Cause even I don't know." The queen sighed.
The other woman observed her face for a moment. When she was about to say something Yalenna cut her off in the middle.
" I know, you are saying I'm thinking too much, right? But, it keeps bothering me continuously for quite some time! Nadia."
Nadia sighed.
" You and your overthinking mind! Just give some space to relax your mind."
Then she bowed and disappeared in a white fog.
" She never changes, huh? Always thinking of me as a baby" the queen sighed.
"Haha, I'm really wary of him. I'm sure he isn't the one before. But how can it be possible, huh?"
Yalenna shook her head with frustration.

" Hmm.. still in the god-king level, huh? This is too slow!"
Karl was currently checking his system's stats with a sleeping Rowanna by his side. Rowanna was resting her head on his chest, naked, while hugging him from the front as if Karl was her possession.
Karl turned his face towards hers and smiled with affection and kindness.
" Why is she so much cute like a baby? I can't believe she was the one who made the previous Karl almost dead!"
" Me too."
" Mmm, my beloved divine servant, Marina! Why did you become suddenly interested in her? Huh, don't tell me you are into her!"
Hearing this Marina's face became flushed like a cherry and soon her angered voice erupted.
" Shameless bastard! Do I look like a lesbian? I fucking hate stuff like that! Can't you think with your brain not with that hateful mind in your dick?"
" Huh? How can there be another brain in one's dick? Don't you know human biology?" Karl asked really confused.
Marina rolled her eyes. But suddenly a crazy idea popped into her mind.
" But you are not a human!"
She was determined to make Karl 'good' according to her standards. She had to do that, right? It's her duty as his most loyal servant!
' I'm only doing this because he is my master! Yeah, I'm sure of that! Huh? Why am I thinking like this? Fuck! What's the problem with me?'
Marina's mind became turbulent so much that anyone could see smoke emitting from her head as if it was burning!
Karl could see all those emotions swirling around her head and he couldn't help but laugh inwardly.
He was a master of reading other's emotions, and everyone who was in front of him could be compared to open books.
' Hehe, my goddess, soon you will be begging in my arms.'
While Marina was still fighting with her own feelings, Karl freed himself from Rowanna, not waking up her in the process. He changed into simple white plain robes and got out of his courtyard.
It was 8.00 in the morning, and he could see how busy were the servants and the maids in the Emperor's palace. Many high-ranking officials and low-ranking officials were going here and there, and some were even running.
Karl decided to take a stroll in the castle premises. His main target was to get to know the locations of some special buildings such as the throne hall, the Emperor's courtyard and of course the queen's courtyard and to get to know some people. With his identity as the crown prince of the Sargeer Empire, this was not much big deal for him. Karl already knew the importance of the information on the battleground he was about to start a war. Of course, it was a war. Taking down a 500 year old Emperor can no way be easy. The war he had to start was to be taken place in of course nowhere other than the Emperor's own home. The reason for this was the Emperor's decision to take him in as the crown prince.
Anyone would think it is stupid if a newly appointed crown prince went against the emperor for power! But Karl's case was different. He was not a native in this world in the first place and most importantly he had his badass supreme overlord system taking care of him.
Of all people in the palace's premises, his eyes only caught figures of beautiful maids walking here and there elegantly. They were wearing eye-catching red robes with the royal emblem embroidered on to their chests'. He saw various colours of women including the colour of white chocolate, milk white and dark chocolate.
Karl was lost in a world of beautiful hips and boobs making his mind blank.
After a long stroll in the palace premises, Karl returned to his courtyard at noon only to see two messenger eunuchs waiting for him. By the time he reached it, Karl could see a cold war was going on between the eunuchs and Rowanna, who had just woken up.
" Hmm, didn't know the third elder of the Sargeer Clan had been eager to meet me. May I ask what wind brought you here to my humble house?"
" Here you are, Karl Neitherhood! The lad from Neitherhood clan. So, how do you feel about your new position right now? Do you feel happy and contented?"
The old man with a short white beard smirked.
" Of course, yes. My humble self is very much grateful to receive the Emperor's kind attention to me." Karl's mouth curled into an insulting smile.
Hearing this the third elder's eyes dangerously narrowed at the insult which was directed to him.
" Mmm, you have become mature I can give you that. But you should learn to respect older people. Young people these days do not show enough respect for their elders. As the to-be crown prince of the Empire, you shouldn't be like them."
" Well, I don't have a habit of respecting people who don't respect me." Karl snapped.
" Bastard, you are saying the third elder of the Sargeer Clan should respect you. Know your place, young man."
The other old man with him barked at him.
" No one dares to be loud in my master's house. Before I'm going to kick your ass, you should better leave here right now!" Rowanna roared.
" Your master?"
" Yeah, my master. Do you have a problem with that?"
From the moment he saw the two, Karl could identify what was the target they were assigned to.
Of course, it was to get information on the relationship between Rowanna and him.
' Old bastard, can't even wait a day, huh?'
Earlier Karl aroused curiosity in the emperor's mind and now by making her call him as her master, he was sure that his curiosity would rise to a level that he himself came to Karl.
Although he was the crown prince, he was not allowed to meet the emperor without his permission. To get his plan to proceed smoothly he was sure, he should meet him in person. To meet him in person, there was only one thing he could do. That was raising his curiosity.
Curiosity killed the cat.
