"Cute and dangerous." The old man said as he adjusted his monocle, "he almost disrupted the tranquility of our kingdom!"
"Gramps, you worried too much." She said with a playful smile before she asked seriously. "I thought he would be destroyed immediately. What with the delay?"
"Hmm." The old man caressed his white hair thoughtfully, "The king wants to know how he came about. We need to know which rebel factions created him."
"Wrong!" A man in a royal guard uniform came inside the room. "The boy is an immortal Vampire. He regenerates almost from every attack we throw at him."
"Sam The Royal Knight" the old man greeted before he said, "Surely we have different weapons that can kill a being of this caliber!"
"Certainly, but the Great Council wants knowledge and information first!" Sam The Royal Knight answered.
"And his mind can't be read I presume!" The woman asked.
The royal knight Sam looked at her, "Lady Sansa." He said with a slight bow before he said, "they have tried and got lost. They said they seemed to have plunged into deep endless water that suffocated them. If they didn't come out they would have died."
"It's understandable," The old man said. "With your permission I will try my tricks." He said as he looked at Royal Knight Sam and Lady Sansa.
"Fine!" They answered.
The old man's body became illusory and he phased through the yellow glasslike substance and touched Zamright's body, trying to enter.
There was some resistance but he pushed more power and he slipped through vanishing inside the body.
"Wairam The Wraith. This old man always gave me shiver when I met him." Sam The Knight muttered.
"Haha!" Lady Sansa laughed and commented, "my grandfather gave that feeling to everyone. Even for me, it took a while before I got over my fear of him."
"I heard his training method was life experience." Sam said as he looked at her fondly . He had tried hard to get this woman but always failed but he never gave up.
"It's trauma inducing but now I see the benefits of it."
They were discussing when the old man returned back. Usually he will be fatigued and battered off but he now looks normal.
Lady Sansa has accompanied her grandpa in many of his possession sessions and she has never seen him come out normal.
"You look better than when you enter. Did you take his essence?" She asked surprised.
"No" Wairam shook his head. "I never met anyone like him. He is absolutely clean. As if he never has life sins in him. He was also vast, endless, I can't see the edges. It's like I entered a bottomless ocean!"
Wairam was in daze as he said all those words. He sighed before he looked at Sam The Royal Knight, "Apart from what I told you there is nothing that hints about his true origin."
Wairam The Wraith's True Blessing was Spirit Possession. He can enter into living organisms and gain vast amounts of knowledge about them from within, sometimes without their knowledge.
His ability though came with a drawback, he tended to relive what the person experienced. Some people will even feel him and fight back.
However, even without all that there was a suppression of the body that weighed on him which made him suffer the longer he was within the body.
Inside Zamright, he felt he was not inside a being but a vast world. There was no suppression but a soothing existence that lulls his mind and heart.
Because he has never felt that way he was more terrified than ever and decided to come out fast. Who knew if that was a defense mechanism of the body to destroy him?
'This boy was really strange!' Wairam thought.
Wairam wasn't the only person invited to check on Zamright and each one did their investigation until the nation was somewhat satisfied.
It took months for the investigation, giving Zamright ample time to reach a massive milestone in his True Blessing assignment.
Zamright was surrounded by massive asteroids far bigger than him. Most of them were bigger than mountains and hills and he was pulling more and more toward him through the invisible chains.
Suddenly, he felt his body was awakening. He returned back and he saw his eyes opening and saw light. He heard murmuring but couldn't grasp what was being said.
Inside a white hall, there were bronze chairs and tables arranged, facing a sarcophagus made of yellow glass like substance. Within was a young cute boy.
On a high back chair was the King of Great Lantern sitting with his long gorgeous crown on his head.
By his sides were his bodyguards, one of which was a woman and the other was Sam The Royal Knight.
On the other chairs were other important figures. One of them was the Yellow Glass creator that encased Zamright.
Zamright opened his eyes and saw the establishment but there was a deep yellow light aimed at suppressing his powers and abilities.
"We learned your name is Zamright and we have gathered that you have come from Charred Island. However, that is all we can decipher."
Royal Knight Sam said as he observed Zamright face for any emotional fluctuations.
"Tell us. Who are you?" He asked.
Zamright found himself able to move his head and mouth. He observed them before he said, "You already know what you need to know about me."
"Zamright." Sam The Royal Knight called out in a deeper voice, "We need to understand your purpose in this nation!"
"This is my land, my home. I came to see what became of it and nothing more!" Zamright said.
His voice was soft and soothing. If the people listening to him weren't hardcore they may have fallen for him.
"Who are your parents?" The knight asked again.
That enlisted a frown from Zamright and he didn't answer immediately before he said, "They are long gone. Why am I here? Why did you destroy the Ancient Temple?"
"You know why." Sam's face became sharp before he asked again, "Do you know Jyorta?"
