Chapter 34 - Recalibration Of The Throne

Zamright walked off the Throne and watched the changes. All this was not by his command but a reaction of the Throne and it made him smile.

The Throne was made of bronze, brass and iron. Inside it was extraordinary technology mixed with mystical combinations of different True Blessings.

During his time there was no throne like this, maybe it was created to hide the true Throne Relic and whoever made it was very talented and knowledgeable.

Zamright was in awe but what made him more awed was the merging of the Iron Coins and the Iron part of the Throne. Giving it more mystical feeling and power and he can feel that power was fed to the bronze and brass part as well.

He counted it well and the Throne took only 101 Iron Coins before it stopped and the working inside it boosted giving out a wave of vibrating energy which made his body vibrate.

The vibration expanded until it engulfed the whole Palace. It didn't stop at that as it reached the whole city, activating and deactivating all tech and appliances.

There was a sudden silence from the Throne when a full one percent power from Throne Relic entered it and instantly, it unscrewed and became parts before some parts were removed and some were destroyed.

A living creature similar to a black cat was yanked out and incinerated.

Then everything returned back and reconnected, turning into a single person throne rather than Throne that resembled a couch.

Another wave of scanning went around, dismantling everything made of parts and reassembling them all around the palace. Then some sort of energy seeped into the walls and they became stronger that blocked all kinds of energy and force.

Ancient murals that survived time violation were set anew across the palace, the old houses where Zamright house was all became harder and reforged further solidifying their immortality.

So many things happened in a short amount of time.

Zamright was fascinated and happy before he sighed in resignation as he began to understand the burden on his shoulders.

After 5 minutes, everything calmed down.

From the vault of the palace Bank that can contain the coins were brought and they were methodically arranged inside by the throne itself before they were stored away in the hidden compartments.

The eggs also faced the same treatment. Six armed creatures somewhat merged with walls and observed his master.

Zamright went and sat on the now new throne, he was thoughtful for some time before he said reveal yourselves.

The door of the Throne room swung and a man came inside. He has white hair and pale skin. It was Juright, he stared at Zamright on the throne with fear and also expectations.

He just stood there without knowing what to do. As for Zamright, he was scanning the man to see if there was any connection between him and the man and he found none. He wasn't a direct descendant of his family.

"How many people submit?" Zamright asked the main question. Juright bowed and turned around and left. It's as if cat got his tongue.

Then he returned with some people.

"My Lord, I think a lot of officials have fled and fortified one of the Great Cities. News was being suppressed about the throne. They are waiting for theKing and his brother Dark Knight to return before they try to get the throne back." Juright said.

"Yes, your majesty. Right now word from the Great Makera City was that army, and many powerful men and Artefacts are being assembled. If not because of the sudden barrier around this city we may be faced with probing assaults." A woman said.

"They also have ancient artifacts that once used to stop the workings of the Throne." An old man said as he scrutinized Zamright deeply.

"There won't be any war. Send word to them. If they are doing that because of the former king, then, he has committed suicide. I will give them 12 hours, to either submit themselves here to me or face certain annihilation. I will have no mercy toward anyone that wishes to disturb the peace of my land"

Zamright declared.

He has uttered those words in confidence, fight and war will not happen now.

The Great Lantern was quite strong and had the longest monarchy in the world but it was quite fragile.

The Throne has prolonged its existence but also it's the weakness. To rule was to have the throne and if you can't even have it then you can't rule.

Worse, even if you can have it, you must be able to control it. Without necessary bloodline heritage, then your control will be weak and anyone can snatch it if they have enough power.

There has never been anyone with more control and power over the throne like Zamright. Even if they didn't know that, they would know his power was greater than what they could contend with.

Those that were afraid of their former actions will leave the Nation, those that want to see what will happen will stay and bow with fear.

Zamright sent everyone away, he leaned back and closed his eyes. He waved his hand and Van appeared.

The man's body was now wrinkled, his hair was grey like an old msn and there was a sign of torture on his body. His eyes were dull but when Zamright looked deeply he saw a burning life force hidden inside.

There were tiny insects inside him feeding on his blood and releasing medicine that kept him alive.

"They must have kept him alive believing to gain more information about me from him. They also expected I might come to save him and they used him as bait." Zamright commented.

He sighed as he looked at his small cute hand, the truth was his emotions were dull most of the time. Things like pity, sadness toward others just came for a moment before they went away. This made him forget important stuff.

With the way he was now he wouldn't have risked himself to save the man. Even the killing of Ancient Temple Vampires only made him sad but then he almost forgot about them completely.

The rebels that fought to save him, which was unrequited of them but at least he should have felt a desire to save them and also reward them well for their bravery.

He should have felt that but he was not, though he does have a desire to aid them but it was just his logical reason for talking to him.

Zamright rubbed his white hair and face and sighed, "I'm hating this role already!"

"Cut him a bit!" He ordered.

Six armed creatures used his nail and cut a wound on Van's wrist. Zamright waved his hand and he took control of the blood flowing out…

In a beautiful control.
