"You ready?"
On a certain broadcasting building, an assistant of some sort, was asking a woman dressed in full black dress with heels. She was wearing a red lipstick with a brownish hair that touched her shoulders and had a makeup on.
She was holding coffee on the right hand and papers on the other. Sitting on a chair going through the documents.
"Yes but is it true that whatever is written here... Happened last night?"she asked the assignment and he nodded. The assignment is a man 21 years of age and just finished his college and got a job to the broadcast station. Wearing plain black T-shirt and long pants with sneakers, black and white in color with a Nike logo on it.
"It happened last night but..." She said and continued "How did they get information. I understood of how information of Statue of Privilege could spread but this... It's not even a big deal"
"What do you mean it's not a 'BIG DEAL' "suddenly, a man who looks like 45 year old J.Jonah Jameson walked in, irritated.
He was wearing long with shirt with a black tie and short sleeve jacket buttoned. He has long black pants and a black sharp nose shoes.
"Anything that involves those freaks, IT'SA BIG DEAL!!" The man said "They kill an ant! It's a BIG DEAL!! They steal a spoon! IT'S A BIG DEAL!! They destroy the Statue of Privilege! IT'S A GOD.DAMN.BIG.DEAL!!!"
Everybody in a room frown and the manager of the broadcast saw this and tried to divert attention by saying "Everyone get to your position, It's almost time"
Now back to the cafè.
After Scarlet said that, a tense atmosphere lingered for a few moments, and the 1st guy challenged Scarlet, saying, "Look at this. Do you know us, lady?"
The 2nd guy added, "I bet she's a spoiled brat by D.A.D.D.Y," while the 3rd guy observed with curiosity.
Scarlet, undeterred, responded, "I don't need to know you, but you're disturbing me," simultaneously questioning her newfound confidence with a thought, [Why did I intervene, and why am I confident? Weird.]
Ignoring Scarlet's warning, the 1st guy stood up and slowly approached her, taunting, "Well, well, well. Somebody has a big mouth."
People in the cafe remained indifferent to the brewing conflict.
The guy sat opposite Scarlet at the same table, proclaiming, "The princess needs her peace and doesn't care about others." Scarlet paid him no attention, continuing to drink her coffee.
Growing irritated, the guy took Scarlet's cup, drank her coffee, and smugly remarked, "Nice." Scarlet, furious about the intrusion, witnessed the cup snapping in the guy's hands as a manifestation of her escalating anger. The cafe remained oblivious to the unfolding confrontation.
Scarlet stared directly at the guy, lifting her head to meet his eyes. Trembling, he wondered, [Why am I trembling? Am I afraid?]
The man suddenly remembered back when he was a child. When his parents took him to the zoo a lion got loose and started attacking everybody on its sight the minute it saw them.
The lion saw the young man a ran straight to him and the man froze and couldn't run away. The lion lifted it claws...
"You done?"
Scarlet, seemingly unfazed, asked. The guy, taken aback by her assertiveness, stopped trembling.
From another table, the 2nd guy prompted, "Ayo K. Educate her."
Scarlet, having recently delved into their minds, responded calmly, "You're called K, short for Kevin, right? You're wondering, 'How do I know that?' You think you're the boss because you're dating the hottest girl in your group without knowing Mike slept with her before you, and Zack is sleeping with her behind your back. They think you're a joke. And you're wondering, 'She is lying, right? She's trying to get in my head.' Well, before you looked me in the eyes, your body warned you."
Kevin, the guy in question, was left confused, shocked, surprised, betrayed, and feeling used.
The onlookers were stunned by Scarlet's bold statement. The 2 other guys, Mike and Zack, appeared surprised and confused by the unexpected revelation.
[Nobody was there, so how did she know] Mike thought trying to connect the dots but the dots don't connect.
Zack thought [There was nothing that could a suspect that we're seeing each other, not even text message can prove that. So, how did this b*tch know]
Moments later, the door opened, and a woman walked in, spotting Kevin and asking, "K, what are you doing over there?"
The cafe patrons turned their attention to her as if they had just seen a naked woman, making her feel exposed and fearful.
Sensing the judgmental gazes, she became afraid and thought [They're staring. Is it still in my face]. Kevin, caught in an uncomfortable situation, admitted, "I felt it some time ago, but I love her."
After the man's words lingered in the air, Scarlet's thoughts swirled in a complex dance of emotions. The weight of his revelation hung in the room, adding another layer to her contemplation. Amidst the echoes of her own past, his admission became a mirror reflecting the intricate web of feelings woven into her existence.
With a furrowed brow, Scarlet considered the implications of his words, a silent conversation playing out within the walls of her mind.
Scarlet, surprised and touched by jealousy due to her lack of prior love, muttered, "I'm jealous" in a low voice.
Gossip started circulating among onlookers, with some feeling sorry for Kevin while others thought he deserved it. A sense of understanding for his pain emerged.
Oblivious to the unfolding drama, the woman continued, "This weekend, we have to go watch the latest Marvel movie."
Mike and Zack remained silent, not responding to her, their quietness echoing the tension in the cafe.
Summoning courage, Kevin stood up from the table and approached the woman, declaring, "Let's break up." Without waiting for a response, he swiftly left the cafe, leaving behind a lingering sense of tension and unresolved emotions in the air.
