Chapter 10 - CHAPTER 9: ARRIVAL OF THE MOB BOSS

"Where the hell are you?" the man barked in an angry voice.

Scarlet, stuttering, replied, "[I'm in a ca... café near my apartment, boss]."

"Send me your location, and I'll be there," the man demanded. Scarlet promptly sent her location to the man.

He then called one of his associates, instructing them, "Boys, there's a b*tch who betrayed me. She needs to be taught a lesson. So come to my house and pick me up so we can go to the b*tch."

The guys responded with a firm, "[Yes, boss. We'll be there shortly.]"

On the other side.

"Did you see that bitch last night? She was FINE as hell" the man said while talking to others in the same room

The other responded, in somewhat cool manner, "And you flopped."

The man said in irritation "I didn't flop. I just didn't have the ooze"

The other said in the same manner as before but in a low voice "No wonder you got dumped. Still thinking of drugs"

The man was lost in thought in didn't hear that but the other 4 guys in the room heard that

~Ring~Ring~Ring~

Before the conversation called continued, the was a call. The men in the room saw the caller ID in the phone. Smile and laughter vanished on their face, they prompt the man who was talking to answer the call because none of them wants to talk to the person who was calling  and the man answered.

"Yes, boss. We'll be there shortly." The call disconnected.

"Damn, another one will bite the dust," the guy who answered the call said with a frown on his face looking down so the others won't see his expression.

He remembered something that happened a long time ago before he got in the industry. It was a tragic moment on his life that he can't forget and won't forget.

He was lost in thought for a few moments before someone interrupted him.

"I wonder when will these b*tch*s learn," the second guy said while looking at his phone because he was busy chatting on social media. He looked indifferent when he said that and he was brothered by it.

He just have a mindset that let him keep his 'cool' at all time, it doesn't matter what is happening in front of him. He just stay indifferent like it's none of his business.

Someone else followed the flow of the conversation.

"A week can't go by without them being quiet," the third guy said in cool manner which he didn't sound cool at all but I guess he's addicted to that manner of speaking

"I know, man," the first guy agreed.

"B*tch*s, b*tch*s, b*tch*s. They need to be killed," the fourth guy, built differently from the rest, stated.

His body was big and muscular, with biceps resembling those of Dwayne Johnson. His chest was broader, and his height stood at 6 foot 9, towering over the others who were 6'4, muscular but not as bulky, like ex-military types.

They all said """"NO"""""

The 5th guy said "We're wasting time. We need to move"

The 6th guy was quite.

"I agree with you" said the 2nd guy. They took they're keys and headed to the cars

The were three sleek, black Mercedes Benz AMGs, their rims and windows akin to the deep darkness of a panther, stood ready. The distinctive number plates, KML0001, KML0002, and KML0003, hinted at their formidable presence. The powerful engines roared to life, setting the stage for their impending journey into the city.

The 6 guys headed to the boss's apartment and arrived at the apartment. The boss got in one of the cars.

The convoy of black Mercedes Benz AMGs, now carrying the boss, smoothly merged into the flow of city traffic. Their destination set, the powerful engines hummed as they cruised through the bustling streets, navigating the urban jungle with precision. The boss, his face stern, contemplated the impending encounter with Scarlet, determined to teach her a lesson for the perceived betrayal. The road stretched out before them, a path leading to the confrontation that awaited.

As the convoy approached Scarlet's location, the boss's anger intensified. The drivers, keenly aware of his mood, exchanged glances, recognizing the gravity of the situation. The boss, lost in his thoughts, envisioned the confrontation with Scarlet, his frustration building with every passing moment. The black Mercedes Benz AMGs continued to cut through the city's thoroughfares, closing in on the destination that held the promise of retribution.

Sometimes in the past but let's not dwell in it, just a brief surface

The man's name was whispered in fear. He controlled the city's underworld, his power unmatched.

Rumors spread about his past, but few knew the truth. Some said he was once a soldier, others a businessman. But one thing was certain: he was ruthless.

His organization, "The Syndicate," operated in the shadows. Members wore no uniforms, bore no tattoos. They blended in, invisible.

The man's rule was simple: loyalty above all. Betrayal meant death.

Few dared challenge him. Those who did, vanished.

The city's police department knew of his existence but couldn't touch him. Corruption ran deep.

As the man rebuilt his plans, a new threat emerged. The Fire Fist, a rogue element, had disrupted his operations but little did he know that something is going to disrupt him more than Fire Fist.

Back to the present

As the man sits in the backseat...

The man's eyes narrowed. "I'll show them power."

In certain areas without the man's knowledge but so little did they underestimate him

In the shadows, players moved. Some sought power, others revenge.

A mysterious figure, known only as "The Informant," fed information to the police. The man's organization was crumbling and he was aware of it while 'THEY' didn't know.

A naive detective, Emily, received a cryptic message on her desktop computer while the message glitched "Look into The Syndicate."

Emily's eyes widened. "This could be the break I need."

As she dug deeper, she realized the man's reach was vast. Every lead ended in a dead-end.

But Emily refused to give up. She sensed the man's weakness but it's only an assumption in her part.

The Fire Fist, once an asset, had become a liability. The man would stop at nothing to eliminate him.

Emily's next move could change everything.
