Chapter 3 - CHAPTER 2: CLEANING

Scarlet began sorting out the rubbish bags, determined to clean up her apartment.

As she reached for the washing cloth, it came to her hand seemingly on its own.

Shocked, she repeated the action with the washing liquid, and it too obeyed her command.

Uttering a surprised "That's weird," she moved on to washing the dishes.

Before she knew it, all the dishes were done effortlessly.

Next, she picked up the broom, and it too came to her hand without any resistance.

Unfazed this time, she pondered, [Maybe I attract anything that's not metal.]

After cleaning the bedroom, she found an old photo.

She had average height, she stands confidently, her presence a subtle force that captivates those around her. While she may not fit conventional notions of exaggerated beauty, there's a magnetic allure to her appearance. Her face, adorned with a quiet charm, emanates a natural beauty that resonates with authenticity and she had a black long hair.

Her eyes whispered tales of sorrow, each glance a poignant narrative that unfolded the chapters of a silent tragedy. The curve of her nose and the soft lines of her lips form a face that radiates warmth and approachability. It's a canvas adorned with simplicity, yet it leaves a lasting impression.

Moving down, her body is a testament to strength and vitality. It's not about conforming to societal ideals but about embracing the incredible vessel that she inhabits.

She carried within her the weight of tragedy, an unseen burden that cast shadows upon her soul.

Deep wells of sadness and sorrow resided in the depths of her being, painting a complex landscape of emotions.

Yet, amidst the somber hues, there existed a quiet strength, a resilience that whispered of battles fought and a spirit that persevered despite the storms within.

As she looked at the photo, memories flooded back and with a wistful sadness, she whispered, "What a life"

She continues.

Feeling a surge of newfound abilities, Scarlet struck a superhero pose and declared, "From today, I'm Negative Magneto."

With a serious tone, she added, "I am Justice," embracing the unexpected powers she had acquired during her strange transformation.

Feeling a tinge of embarrassment from her superhero proclamation, Scarlet continued to sweep the floor and followed up with mopping.

Once the cleaning was complete, she proceeded to take a shower.

In the shower, memories of the previous night flooded back, and tears welled up as she relived the distressing moments.

She allowed herself a few minutes to cry, releasing the emotions that had built up.

Afterward, she emerged, dressed in casual clothes paired with high heels and a light brown coat.

With determination, she declared, "Time to start my day," opening the door to face whatever challenges lay ahead.

Reluctant to step outside, Scarlet lingered at the door, contemplating the possibility of encountering Stacey.

Long time ago, probably 6 to 7 years ago.

The was a teenager with black hair with a cute face. Her body was average curved, not like an hourglass figure or like a plank figure but she was fine.

She was standing at the door on a certain apartment she was sent to. You thought right, She's the young Scarlet before the incident happen.

She was about to knock but the door suddenly open and she saw a white man on his 30s about to greet her.

"Hello sir, I'm here for the service you requested from my boss* she said.

The man had a beard that looks like he was an ex-soldier or a secret intelligent but anyone could tell upon seeing that he worked or works for the government. He's body was broad and muscular but not to muscular. He was dressed in a full suit and a tie.

He looks like he was ready to go out but when he saw the teenage woman outside greeting him and said "Hello. Oh, the request?" He out his right hand on the back of his head like and had the look like he forgot about the request.

The man invited the teenage inside and Scarlet said "So where should we start? In the living room? Kitchen? Or the bedroom?" while undressing her clothes and the man had a confused face but soon realized what he just requested.

"Oh. I'm sorry. I don't mean that kinda service"the man said and Scarlet thought 'I knew that post was misleading. I should tell him when I return' she had a calm face when she thought but seconds later she had a confused look and thought 'If it's not then what did he request'

"I was going to ask if you can babysit my child while I go out for few hours." The man said and continued "But I'll still pay for the service and I would pay more if you do a good babysitting my little girl"

Scarlet thought 'This man is crazy. Why would he think a girl like me is suitable to babysit a kid.' while she was thinking, a 10 year old baby girl walked in the room and she walked straight to the man's leg and hugging it.

"Dad. Who is this lady? Is she going to be my new mommy?" The girl said while hiding behind the man.

"No princess. She's not going to be your money but she's going to be your babysitter." The man said and Scarlet saw this and a smile appeared on her face.

"I'm too old for a babysitter Dad. I don't need a babysitter. I need you Dad" the child said and tears were starting to form on her eyes

Scarlet squirtted while touching her knees, looking straight into the child's eyes and said "Well. Think of me as a teacher"

And a bright smile appeared on the child's face.

Well, back to the present.

She was thinking of Stacey and thought of a lot of things.

The fear of facing questions like "What? How? When? Where? Why?" filled her with remorse, creating a momentary hesitation.

Summoning courage, Scarlet finally decided to face the outside world.

With a deep breath, she opened the door, prepared to confront whatever inquiries or challenges might come her way.
