"Done," he grunted.
"Huh?" Yara blinked up at him.
"Your eyes are the same color now," he said, looking at her confused face.
Yara tried not to laugh, realizing he was just trying to get close to her eyes. "What color did you make them?" she asked, blinking.
She didn't feel any different; was he pulling her leg?
"Gold, a superior color," he said.
Yara rolled her eyes, 'Gold, why didnt she think a dragon would like the colour gold,' she thought, amused.
Abruptly, his hand covered her face, pushing her back. "You're too close," he said flatly, stepping away.
Yara sputtered, pulling his hand away.
Behind them, the men laughed loudly. They had been watching the two of them and thought they might see something good.
"Knew he didn't have it in him," one of them whispered to his companion, their voices filled with amusement.
"This is great! Now we have a chance with the woman."
