Noriel frowned as he stood on the side of a house, peering at the guards up ahead. He had been on the run for months now after being freed from that auction, searching and hiding.
Yet there were no signs of his siblings anywhere. He hated to think what that could mean.

They were strong! Mera and Lynx were resourceful and had strong magical affinities; they could hold their own in a fight. His youngest sibling, Farin, was more of a spitfire. His attitude made up for what he lacked in magic.
It had been six human years since they were separated. He would not give up on them. He ducked back into the alleyway as some guards ran past.
He checked to ensure his hood covered his elf ears, pulling it tighter. The crazy lord had increased security in multiple villages spread around the capital to catch him.
