"Kindly wait here until they're ready for you."
Kiera nodded at the woman as she left and hurriedly took off her outer clothes and chucked them into her tote.
She made a final check over her clothes, her hair and face and gave a nod of approval.
She tried to focus on getting into character. Who was Kiera Moireach?
A woman who thrived in the camera lights, who loved being someone new for every part, digging deep into that character is, she wanted to be recognized for her talent and she wanted to win. She was a woman who survived near the bottom of the show business cesspit, she'd seen the best and she had looked at beasts in the eye and she had stood her ground. She might not have gotten anywhere in her previous life but she wanted what she experienced to be of a foundation in order to succeed in this one.
She wasn't afraid to step on people to get what she wanted because she knew they would do the same to her if she hesitated. She had done a lot of hesitating before, thinking no one deserves that but that kindness has been thrown in her face more times than she can count. She had her heart stepped on and smashed for the sake of popularity.
And she was done. She was done being good Kiera, nice Kiera. This time she wanted to be selfish.
The door opened and she took a deep breath, this was the first step of her new life.

Amanda looked at the new auditionee after the little girl's excited outburst.
She was beautiful but so had been most of the women before her. But one thing she thought this one had over the rest was her fantastic body. Big bust area, narrow waist, nice hips and those long slender legs. Even as a woman she let out a mental wolf-whistle. People would kill to have a body like that. Aside from that she didn't see anything that might make her standout.
Her amateur eye must have really missed something because Laurent, their esteemed artistic photographer who had been manning the cameras over the two-way mirror and who had been looking down at his phone with boredom written all over him, had suddenly sat up and looked more awake than she had seen him the whole day.
She could feel a few of the more experienced people in the room start to focus on her and at the various screens in the room.
"Very photogenic," she heard Eduard murmur as he studied her over the screen.
"Good afternoon, we'll be going over some poses and this would be a sample tape our team would be studying. We'll go through your various angles. But keep your focus on the cameras." One of the staff behind the cameras explained. "If you could begin with your name and any interesting fact you would like to share, please. And keep going until we cut you off."
"My name is Kiera Moireach."
Amanda was absolutely sucked in as she watched Kiera look straight into the camera with her piercing blue eyes and give a little smile. She was fascinated as Kiera continued to talk on but at the same time she switched between camera, it didn't take more than a second for her to focus on the correct camera as soon as it changed.
"Amazing camera sense." She could hear Sophia say with a little laugh. "And she's aware of her angles."
"Thank you! That's the first part done." One of the associates pointed at a little fish bowl at the side, "The next part would be an acting scene. Kindly pick a scene through there and we'll get started."
Kiera walked over to the bowl and picked a scrap of paper, "Your boyfriend of several years had just told you he had a change of heart and has fallen in love with your best friend. What would you do?"
Amanda flinched when she heard the scenario, she has had enough of screaming and crying and pleadings to stay to be quite frank. Not the best scenario to show off, in her opinion.
"We have here an acting partner to change lines with, he'll take his cue from you. We'll give you a minute and we'll give the mark to get started."
One of the associates snapped the clapboard, "Action!"
