The key we had gotten just so happened that it opened the door to the tower down below in the valley. One of them so called orientators ~ I remember them from before. Arslan had mentioned they served as some type of beacon for the adventurers alike.
I think the memo was that it was somehow out of commission.
So we had to reactivate it, I just really hoped that we didn't have to climb the tower.
"So how are we gonna activate this thing anyway!?" I shouted to Arslan over the fast winds approaching us.
The valley was pretty - real pretty. Like prettier than before? The flowers were blooming the sun was shining, and the mountains were blue somehow. Enough to see little ruins in between the high grass. I could finally see the road on the ground, and the road we had created as well. The bike seemed to be leaving a trail.
What the?!
Arslan chuckled and hit a button in front of his dashboard.
The bike jumped and its wheels suddenly flipped and we started hovering.
We were starting to gain altitude.
STOP!
I couldn't help but grab onto Arslan and push against him.
Have I mentioned I have a terrible fright of heights?
Flying is especially nerve-wracking for me.
"It's okay - just look," Arslan said with a sweet gentle voice. I opened one eye only to find ourselves considerably off the ground.
But the trail we were leaving behind surprised me - it got the better of me and I took another look.
We were spreading seeds and replanting a lot of the valley.
What's more, I had seemed to have activated a spell. Not to my knowing - but a rainbow hovered over us and seemed to have been helping the seeds start to sprout.
"This is our duty - we need to bring back life to this place as much as we can - the miasma will continue to spread until we break it from its root," Arslan continued.
That's right that's what we were doing.
I was still afraid of heights though.
We landed just a moment later, my heart was beating like crazy.
