"A de-scenter?" muttered Travis looking down at me. I could see the love in his eyes as he squinted just a bit.
"Yeah," I muttered, not quite willing to move right now. I was still tired after the four rounds that Travis and I went through. Every muscle in my body was screaming, wondering what they had ever done to me to deserve such treatment.
My brain and my mouse were smirking contently, nodding their heads in satisfaction.
The fact that my mouse was also sleeping on a giant polar bear was a new development, and I had to wonder how the bear became so intrinsically linked to me that it appeared in my head while Raphael's wolf hadn't.
But that was an issue for another time.
