Scurrying down Lucien's chest, I quietly cursed both him and Caleb for not wearing a jacket today. Sure, it was warm outside, and there was no need for one, but they made hiding in their pockets easier.
Right now, neither man had a place for me to disappear into. Letting out a huff of impatience, I ran back up Lucien's chest and dove under his shirt.
I really hoped that he didn't have a fear of mice because if he did, he wasn't going to like what I did next.
"Shhh, Addy," soothed Lucien, patting his chest where I definitely was not. I'd have to give the wolf points for intelligence. Scrambling down his bare chest, my tiny claws digging into his skin, I circled around so that I was at his back.
Finding the bottom of his T-shirt, I ran down his legs and toward the wall.
Since no one was screaming at me, I assumed that the distraction that Caleb and Lucien were making was enough.
